Georgia's GOP secretary of state says he has already investigated 'bombshell' video Rudy Giuliani claimed proves voting fraud and says it shows nothing out of the ordinary

The latest video evidence that Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani calls a 'smoking gun' that 'proves' the election to be fraudulent has been reviewed by the Republican Secretary of State's office, which found no such thing.

Giuliani touted new video evidence as a revelation at a Thursday hearing in Atlanta Thursday – after taking his election fraud roadshow claims to Michigan, Arizona, and Pennsylvania.

'The video tape doesn't lie. Fulton County Democrats stole the election. It's now beyond doubt. Go to the tape! he tweeted.

'SMOKING GUN FROM GEORGIA,' he tweeted Thursday.

'ELECTION IN GEORGIA IS NOW PROVEN TO BE A FRAUD,' he wrote in another tweet.

At the hearing, Giuliani introduced video tape evidence – which he said he had only seen the night before – purporting to show fraud at State Farm Arena, Georgia's largest voting center.

It shows a group of four people allegedly shows people taking out at least four boxes of ballots from underneath a table and then counting them.

A witness described a 'lady with the blonde braids' removing boxes of ballots from under a black table for counting.

Giuliani's witness claimed there was no election observer present – and that the ballots are therefore fraudulent.

Jacki Pick, a volunteer attorney in Georgia who presented the evidence to the state Senate, said: 'The same person that stayed behind, the person that cleared the place out under the pretense that we are going to stop counting is the person who put the table there at 8.22 in the morning. I saw four suitcases come out from underneath the table.'

But the office Georgia's Republican Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, has already looked into the claims, and found nothing, WSB, the ABC affiliate in Atlanta reported.

Gabriel Sterling, the state's voting implementation manager who beseeched people to hold back misguided claims because 'someone's going to get hurt,' also debunked the theory.

'The 90 second video of election workers at State Farm arena, purporting to show fraud was watched in its entirety by @GaSecofState investigators. Shows normal ballot processing. Here is the fact check on it,' he tweeted.

According to the fact check he tweeted, 'Two high-level officials with the Georgia secretary of state's office and a state elections board monitor' each said investigations revealed 'nothing suspicious in the video.'

Giuliani sought to brand the video as the 'bank heist tape' and urged Georgia's Republican-controlled legislature to overturn the state's vote for President-elect Joe Biden.

'The 'Bank Heist tape changes the result in Georgia. The State Legislature has no choice but to assume its powers under the US Constitution, article II (1) 2 and select Trump electors. More important it seems th have the courage to do so,' he wrote.

At an earlier hearing conducted by the Senate Government Oversight Committee, Ryan Germany, the general counsel for Raffesnperger's office, said officials 'have not seen anything that would suggest widespread fraud or widespread problems with the voting system,' the Augusta Chronicle reported.

The state has conducted two recounts, including a hand count of the 5 million ballots, which resulted in a 12,000 vote for Joe Biden.

During the presentation, Giuliani claimed that in total there were '231,188 ballots together with no return record at all and you were able 134,000 of those, but you kept 96,600 votes where there was no return record for them'.

'What would that suggest?' Giulani asked. 'Phantom votes,' he said.

The video is the first time the president's legal team presented evidence regarding election fraud.

According to CBS, there are an estimated 6,000 ballots in each box, which if accurate would amount to about 24,000 potential votes.

During the presentation, there was at least one lawmaker who questioned the validity of the video.

'The question is since this has been debunked repeatedly what evidence can you give to us that counters what our elections officials have presented us with only an hour ago?' the lawmaker said.

Pick responded: 'You just saw it, your officials need to watch the video.'

The fact check, by the Lead Stories web site, debunked each of the claims – including the critical assertion that poll watchers were told to leave, and that ballots were carried in 'suitcases.'

'The officials said the ballots seen in the video were in regular ballot containers -- not suitcases -- and they had been removed from their envelopes and processed while news media and election observers for the Republican Party and Trump campaign were present,' it found. 'The media and party observers were never told to leave because counting was over for the night, but they apparently followed workers who left once their job of opening envelopes was completed,' the chief investigator for the secretary of state told the blog. She said observers were free to return at any time, and state law allows, but does not require, they be present.

Meanwhile, in just the latest embarrassing case filing by forces pursuing President Trump's effort to overturn the election, lawyer Sidney Powell's latest filing claims Dominion Voting Systems machines took 2.5 per cent of the state's votes 'from Mr. Biden and flipped them to Mr. Trump for a more than 5 per cent fraudulent vote in crease.'

The central claim of Powell, who was part of Trump's legal team but is not currently according to the campaign, is that the machines flipped votes to Biden. Other filings have included prominent typos, and mentioned counties that are not in the state where the filings were claiming fraud.

The goofs come despite Powell and Ellis making quips about how they would 'release the Kraken,' suggesting their filings would be devastating.

Attorneys for President Donald Trump's reelection campaign told a Nevada judge in the first election fraud hearing on Thursday that more than 85,000 votes were illegally cast 'by dead people and non-residents'.

One of the lawyers, Jesse Binnall, had previously said he intends to prove that fraudulent votes were cast and that Trump won the state, not President-elect Joe Biden.

During a hearing before state Judge James Russell in Carson City, Binnall claimed that more than 85,000 votes in Nevada were cast illegally.

The Trump legal team presented no evidence to back their claim.

'In the dead of night, votes were appearing and votes were disappearing on these machines,' said Binnall, according to The Washington Times.

'Without explanation — and there is no good explanation,' he said.

Binnall continued: 'We cannot turn a blind eye with striking evidence like this. We cannot allow an election to be stolen. We cannot pretend this vote irregularities, this vote fraud did not happen.'

According to Binnall, more than 8,000 absentee ballots cast in Nevada had fake addresses and nearly 20,000 votes were cast by non-residents.

He also claimed that at least 1,500 dead people voted and there were 42,000 double votes.

Binnall said at least 1 per cent of the voters who voted by mail-in ballots did not actually submit them.

Kevin Hamilton, an attorney arguing against Trump's team said no court in the history of the US has ever overturned an election of this magnitude.

On Tuesday, Binnall and other attorneys for Trump's reelection campaign and representatives of Nevada's six Electoral College delegates for Biden inspected voting materials at the main Clark County elections office.

The Nevada Supreme Court has certified the election results as official, including Biden's 33,596-vote statewide win over Trump in a coronavirus-inspired vote-by-mail push to avoid crowds at polling places.

Attorneys representing Registrar of Voters Joe Gloria and the state and national Democratic parties did not oppose the site visit.

Russell noted in a Monday court order that state law allows inspection of testing reports and materials 'pertaining to the equipment and programs used' in election.

States face a deadline to resolve election disputes before the presidential Electoral College votes on December 14.
