Woman, 48, is arrested on suspicion of murder after 36-year-old man dies from cardiac arrest in house

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 36-year-old man in south-west Birmingham.

West Midlands Police said the man was found suffering a cardiac arrest at a house on Dover Close in Bartley Green shortly before 6.20pm on Friday.

A murder investigation was launched after he died at the scene, police said.

A 48-year-old woman was arrested and remains in police custody.

Detective Inspector Stuart Mobberley, from the force homicide team, said: 'Our investigation continues to establish the circumstances surrounding this man's death.
