'We're at the end': TOWIE's Chloe Sims breaks down as she admits she dated men to get 'revenge' on Pete Wicks during their sexual relationship... and reveals Dan Edgar was 'just a rebound'

Chloe Sims broke down in tears on Sunday night's episode of TOWIE as she admitted to being with men as 'revenge' against Pete Wicks and later called her ex Dan Edgar a 'rebound'. 

The pair headed to couples therapy to save their relationship after they went eight months without speaking following a falling out.

During the therapy session, Pete, 31, admitted they 'blurred the lines' of their friendship and had been romantic with each other on and off for two years.

Anna Williamson, who conducted the therapy, asked them: 'It moved into a sexual relationship? I don’t know if you’re comfortable with me putting that term out there?'

Tearing up, Chloe, 37, said: 'At this point, I don’t know. I’m not as strong as everyone thinks and I can’t be bothered to keep being strong all the time. 

'I don’t know if we can go back. I feel like he wants me to be his friend and I don’t know if I can do it.'

Pete admitted if their friendship had never turned sexual, their falling out would probably never have happened.

'Rebound': At the end of the dramatic episode, viewers saw a clip of Chloe on next week's episode speaking about her ex Dan Edgar where she referred to him as a 'rebound'

He said: 'If we hadn’t blurred the lines we wouldn’t be in this position and I’d still have my best friend.'

Anna then asked the pair how long their friendship had been sexual, with Chloe saying: 'There’s a pattern. When he can’t have me, he wants me. 

'When I go away, he follows. Then we spend time together and then the minute I switch and want that, he goes "no". 

'That’s led me to take revenge a few times. I’ve done things to hurt him with other guys and it seemed to work because he comes back.'

Pete said: 'Because when you go it feels like I’m going to lose you full stop.'

Chloe replied: 'You are, we’re at the end Pete,' to which he said: 'That’s not what I wanted.'

At the end of the dramatic scene, viewers saw a clip of Chloe on next week's episode speaking about her ex Dan Edgar.

Dismissing their romance, she said: 'It wasn’t realty about Dan, he was just a rebound.'

Chloe admitted: I’ve done things to hurt him with other guys and it seemed to work because he comes back'

During Sunday's show, fans watched as Amber Turner became upset with Dan when he told Chloe's sister Demi that they had arguments during lockdown.

Before rekindling their romance, Dan briefly dated Chloe and Amber has now suggested that Demi has been 'insinuating' he wanted their romance woes to get back to his former flame. 

As things start to get heated between the pair Amber told her beau that she doesn't believe he always thinks through how he says things as they can be 'misconstrued'.

Viewers took to social media to question whether or not Chloe had 'used' Dan and wondered was he one of the men she was with while trying to take revenge on Pete.

One viewer said: 'So if Dan was a rebound why did she have a problem with him and Amber?' while another added: 'Chloe should now face her front and leave Amber alone at this point.' 

Others reacted to the news of Chloe and Pete's two-year fling with one saying: 'Wow Towie has me shook tonight no words', while another added: 'Two years no way! I haven't been going mad for the longest time. I knew there was something going on.'

It comes after Amber previously talked about how Dan has become a 'changed man' since they gave their romance another go following his relationship with Chloe. 

Amber told The Sun: 'Sometimes you have to go through really low points in life, and Dan admits what happened was a real low for him. He lost me. I was gone and he wasn't in the best place.

'When you lose someone it makes you realise how much you want them and need them in your life, he's not someone in their mid-20s anymore, he's mature and serious about life.

'Obviously joking around, but he has had his mid-life crisis already. Now he's such a changed person. 

'He's so happy and focused on his future. I'm excited for the future with him.'
