'He had a very eventful life before we met': Chloe Madeley reveals her sex life has benefited from husband James Haskell having bedded up to 1,000 women

Chloe Madeley has revealed she benefits from her husband James Haskell having bedded up to 1,000 women before he met her.

The media personality, 33, admitted that while she doesn't know the exact number of women James, 35, has been with, she knows it's a lot.

Speaking to The Sun, the star explained that the ex rugby player spent years honing his skills in the bedroom to her benefit as his wife.

She said: 'James had a very eventful life before we met but I reap the benefits of him being very experienced — so I'm fine with it.

'He has never actually disclosed his magic number but it's far above what your average would be.

'One thousand might be hyperbolic but knowing what I do about him, it's definitely in the hundreds if not more.'

In contrast to James' large number of partners, Chloe insisted there is a 'modest number' of notches on her bedpost as she has always been a relationship girl.

The fitness enthusiast explained that she has had seven long-term relationships while James only had two girlfriends before her as he spent most of his twenties having fun being single.  

Chloe added that she feels 'slut-shaming' is a big problem in society, saying men are celebrated for having sex while women are encouraged to keep their love lives under wraps. 

The star, who is the daughter of TV legends Richard and Judy, said she comes from a family that is very open and is therefore not afraid to say what she thinks. 

Chloe also admitted that she almost ended her relationship with James as he was initially resistant to the idea of marriage before they got engaged.

The beauty had almost put marriage completely off the table when James surprised her by popping the question.

She said she now looks back on that period of their relationship as 'hell' as they spent six months arguing. 

Chloe also revealed that she became the sole breadwinner for the couple during lockdown as all of James' work is public facing and dried up because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chloe told how the couple's sex life also came to a halt during lockdown, partly because of James' love of afternoon sex which meant they only had a narrow window to get intimate as he would be too tired in the evenings.  

However, a recent holiday to Ibiza reignited the spark between the pair with Chloe insisting a fulfilling sex life is of pivotal importance to her and neither her nor James are afraid of saying what they want.

Chloe's parents have been married for 34 years with the star explaining that she has learned patients from them.

The couple hope to have children one day with Chloe revealing James will make a fantastic father when the time comes. 

It comes after James admitted he said 'the standard response of 12' when his other half asked about his sexual history and insisted he 'didn't need to go into details' about his past.

The I'm A Celebrity star also shared that the couple, who will celebrate their second wedding anniversary in December, will try for a baby 'once they have a settled income stream'.

James said: 'Chloe claims that I've slept with 1,000 women. My wife and I did the numbers game and I was having absolutely no part in it.

'Instead I said the standard response of 12 — no more, and no less. All that stuff, it's completely irrelevant. Do I need to go into the minutiae of details of the past? No.

'Chloe and I have a relationship of trust. Though Chloe also claims every time she goes to the gym I watch porn... whenever she goes to type in YouTube on her phone it comes up YouPorn.' 

The media personality added to The Sun that the pair discussed the topic of children for the first time during the coronavirus lockdown.

He said that while the celebrity offspring was 'previously undecided' on the prospect of starting a family, she has now changed her tune and shows the TV star 'a lot of baby pictures' in her spare time.

The sportsman also shed light on their relationship, confessing that they considered couples therapy in the past and have their 'ups and downs'.
