Courtier's family says that she had lost her nanny job due to the pandemic and decided to go on a road trip to tour American national parks before she disappeared.

'We are overjoyed that she was found safely today. We would like to thank the rangers and search teams who relentlessly looked for her day and night and never gave up hope,' Courtier’s family said in a statement.

'I want to make sure everyone is thanked. I will never forget the people who made this miracle possible. I never gave up on finding my mom, even when it wasn’t looking hopeful. She is so loved and I am so incredibly grateful that God brought her home to me,' Holly's daughter Kailey Chambers shared with DailyMail.com.

Courtier's sister Jaime Strong shared an update in a GoFundMe page saying Courtier is 'alive and well' but will need medical help.

'Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone's continued support and prayers! Details on her rescue are limited right now and we will update you when we have all the information....Please continue sharing this page as Holly will need medical care in the days moving forward. In the expansive search for Courtier K-9 Units were deployed, drones, as well as on foot search and rescue teams.

'We are also so grateful to the countless volunteers who were generous with their time, resources and support. This wouldn’t have been possible without the network of people who came together,' the National Parks Service said.

No additional information has been released on how or exactly she was found.

On October 6 Courtier had taken a private shuttle into the park in the afternoon.

She was scheduled to be picked up at 4.40pm but didn’t show up to the pick-up spot, her daughter Kimberly Chambers said.

Courtier had visited Zion with her daughter Kimberly several weeks before she disappeared.

Courtier was described as an avid hiker. Investigators discovered her vehicle outside the park. Inside, there was a receipt for a backpack that investigators believe the mom may have taken with her on her walk.

Courtier's kids said she had lost her nanny job during the coronavirus pandemic.

Taking advantage of the time on her hands, Courtier had converted her van into a camper and was planning to tour America's best national parks.

'This was her dream, to see national parks. She lost her job as a nanny due to Covid-19. The family could not afford to keep paying her. She made that a positive thing -- said that gave her the time to get out, see the parks,' Kailey Chambers, who traveled to the park everyday to search for her mother, said to CNN.*
