Lying woman, 24, faked being followed to take shelter in another driver's Toyota Prado - before 'punching her in the face, BITING her and crashing the car
A woman who lied about being followed and sought refuge in another female's car allegedly punched the driver before stealing her car.
The 24-year-old was running toward a Toyota Prada in the middle of Oxford Street, Guildford in Sydney about 12.30am on Friday.
The 36-year-old female driver immediately came to a stop and the woman got into the front seat of the car saying she was being followed, police said.

When the driver tried contacting police, the woman allegedly punched her in the face multiple times before biting her thumb.
The victim was finally able to undo her seatbelt and jumped out of the car as the alleged perpetrator hopped behind the wheel and drove off.
As the alleged attacker began her getaway, she hit a parked Toyota Hilux but continued to drive off, police said.
She then did a U-turn and drove on the wrong side of the road and smashed head-on with a white Mitsubishi Express which flipped onto its side, officers allege.

Witnesses helped the alleged thief and the driver of the other vehicle before taking her to Granville Police Station where she was arrested.
She was then taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment to the injuries she suffered during the crash.
The woman was slapped with a Court Attendance Notice for assault occasioning actual bodily harm, drive conveyance without consent of owner, drive manner dangerous and drive whilst disqualified.
She is due to appear before Fairfield Local Court on December 1.
