A young boy was left with six fractured vertebrae and a head injury after plunging eight metres from a cliff at a remote national park.
Daniel and his family were exploring the Joffre Gorge in Karijini National Park in Western Australia on Friday when the young boy fell off the cliff, according to 7News.
Emergency services and workers from Fortescue metals scaled the gorge to reach Daniel and winch him up.

Joffre Gorge is a 15-hour drive north east of Perth.
Daniel was flown to a hospital in Perth where he was treated for his head injury and six fractured vertebrae from the eight-metre fall.
The young boy's family released a picture of him on Wednesday, showing Daniel now has to wear a neck and spine brace as his injuries heal.
Despite his injuries, Daniel was still in good spirits as he smiled from his hospital room.
Joffre Gorge features an idyllic swimming hole and waterfall surrounded by steep cliffs that form a 'natural amphitheatre'.
There is a 1.5km walk from the carpark to the Joffre Falls lookout, which is where Daniel fell from.
