TV host sex addiction: David Tutera accused of sex addiction by partner

TV host David Tutera of "My Fair Wedding" has been accused of having a sex addiction by his soon-to-be ex-domestic partner, Ryan Jurica.

Tutera, 47, has built his brand on all things bridal as a wedding wizard of sorts, transforming clients' lackluster nuptials into celebrity-style affairs on his makeover show for WeTV.

He and Jurica had a ceremony in Vermont in September 2003 but separated on New Year's Day 2013, according to Tutera's Los Angeles County Superior Court filing obtained by People. The document cited "irreconcilable differences, with David seeking full custody of their unborn twins, visitation for Jurica and denial of spousal support, and asking Jurica to pay legal fees related to the split.

The wedding planner filed the court documents to end their decade-long partnership on April 19, but it turns out that two days prior, on April 17, Jurica had filed documents of his own to dissolve it. He claimed Tutera had an "addiction to sex" and "engaged in a pattern of hiring sex escorts and prostitutes to support his addiction."  La times reports

"After repeated attempts at marriage counseling and therapy, we have been unable to save our relationship due to [David's] addiction to sex," Jurica said in court documents filed in Connecticut obtained by TMZ.

He is seeking spousal support from Tutera's alleged $1-million annual salary and is also demanding full custody of the twins, whom they are expecting via surrogate this summer.

Jurica also claims that he went into a downward spiral and checked himself into rehab after Tutera initiated the breakup.

The WeTV star has denied Jurica's allegations calling them "baseless" and "untrue."

"I am saddened by these developments; I am angered by the lies; and I am committed to moving beyond this painful moment to focus on my professional commitments and the upcoming birth of my children," Tutera said in a statement to Us Weekly and People.

"I will fight vigorously to defend my reputation in the court of law as well as the court of public opinion. I believe them to be fabrications of a desperate individual in order to gain a legal advantage in our separation."
