The lovebirds, who married last June following a whirlwind courtship, revealed in March that they are expecting a daughter, yet couldn't resist the opportunity to pal around with a baby boy during a walk through New York City's Greenwich Village on Wednesday.

Baldwin took quite a liking to the youngster, who managed to illicit a carefree smile from the usually sombre actor.
The twosome encountered the pint-sized fan while walking to downtown hotspot Grey Dog cafe for breakfast on Baldwin's 55th birthday.
Thomas, 28, accompanied her husband clad in black leggings, stiletto boots, and a coat for warmth. Baldwin seemingly matched his ensemble to that of his wife, dressing in similar blue and black tones.
During a brief stop on their journey, former yoga instructor Thomas lovingly smoothed Baldwin's cheek with the palm of her hand.

The moment of respite comes during a particularly busy time for Baldwin - the veteran performer, who completed a seven-season run on NBC's 30 Rock earlier this year, recently participated in the opening of Lyle Kessler's play, Orphans, on Broadway alongside fellow actors Ben Foster and Tom Sturridge.
In July, Baldwin will debut a role in Woody Allen's latest film, Blue Jasmine, also starring Cate Blanchett, Peter Sarsgaard and comedian Louis C.K.
Meanwhile, Thomas has maintained her position as Extra's resident lifestyle correspondent.
The couple's daughter will be Thomas's first child and Baldwin's second following daughter Ireland, 17, who was born during his nine-year marriage to actress KIm Basinger .
