With a team of pallbearers carrying a coffin outside a church, a waiting hearse is loaded onto the back of a tow-away truck.


The mystery picture has emerged on Twitter today with many people speculating as to whether it is real or not.

The bizarre scene appears to have been filmed on Shoreditch High Street in East London.

Some have speculated that it is a scene from the filming of comedy show Rev.

Among those to tweet the picture was media lawyer Mark Stephens.

He said: 'It was sent to me by a friend and is one of those things that has gone viral.'

The BBC Two sitcom is based around a Church of England priest played by Tom Hollander.


He becomes the vicar of an inner-city London church following a stint in a small rural parish in Suffolk.


Big Talk Productions, who make Rev, have not yet commented on the image.
