Lady Gaga walks again! Singer struts into yoga class in heels... but leaves in her wheelchair

Lady Gaga is back on her feet for the first time since hip surgery in February.

The 27-year-old was spotted strutting into a Bikram yoga class - in heels no less - in New York's East Village on Tuesday.

But it seems all the action proved too much for the star - she was pushed out of the class in her Louis Vuitton wheelchair.

Stepping out in style: The star, who is known for wearing crazy footwear, was wearing midi heels for the outing

On Wednesday, the star was spotted leaving her hotel in her designer ride in a sign she still has a road ahead with her recovery.

The Judas singer, who is back from Chicago after celebrating her birthday in the city with boyfriend Taylor Kinney last week, was left reliant on a wheelchair after having an operation to repair a labral tear on her right hip two months ago.

But she has been recuperating in style with the help some very extravagant accessories.

As well as her designer Louis Vuitton ride, she has also been pictured in a lavish 24-carat gold plated 'chariot', which she commissioned from luxury brand Mordekai.

Too much action? Gaga left the class in her wheelchair

Ken Borochov - who is the creative genius behind Mordekai - designed the chair and although he has worked with Gaga before he was shocked to receive such an unusual request.

In an official statement, Ken previously said: 'I certainly wasn't expecting that phone call and have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the 'Chariot', a chair fit only for a queen.'

The singer was forced to cancel the remaining 25 dates of her Born This Way Ball US tour after sustaining the hip injury.

She told fans in a statement at the time: 'I barely know what to say. I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for some time now, [and] over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal.

'I hid it from my staff. I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However, after last night's performance I could not walk and still can't.'

She admitted she was 'devastated' about the cancellation and sought forgiveness from her fans, adding: 'I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. I'm devastated & sad. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible. I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I'm sorry.'

The Born This Way tour began in Seoul, South Korea on April 27, 2012 and was originally due to end in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on March 20, 2013.
