Jillian Barberie seeks custody of two children as she files for divorce from Grant Reynolds

Jillian Barberie has filed for divorce from her husband Grant Reynolds.

The former Good Day LA host, 46, is seeking sole physical custody of their daughter Ruby, 5, and son, Rocco, 3.

She is requesting that Reynolds to be granted visitation and for legal custody rights to be shared.

She cites irreconcilable differences for the split and wants the pair to share in attorney fees, according to the Los Angeles Superior Court petition.

Barberie filed the papers on March 15 - the same day she publicly announced the end of their six year marriage.

She said in a statement at the time: 'It is with great regret that my marriage to Grant is ending after more than six years.

'He is a special man and we have two amazing children together.

'This was a mutual decision that was not taken lightly and we are committed to our children and will work together to ensure their happy and healthy upbringing.'

She later posted a message to fans on Twitter, saying: 'Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I'm devastated. Going to take some time out. Xx'

The pair wed in 2006 in an intimate backyard ceremony and at the time she described him as 'the love of my life'.

The two appeared in reality show Househusbands of Hollywood, which ran for one season in 2009.

In September Jillian was axed from Good Day LA after almost 20 years on the show.

Dorothy Lucey was also sacked last year but Steve Edwards remains as anchor.
