They proved popular when they rose to fame on The X Factor last year but have since kept a low profile.
And now Union J's whereabouts have been explained - they've been busy working away on their new music.
The boyband are set to please fans as on Tuesday they finally announced their debut single.

Now it appears that the finalists are set to break more hearts, as they also debuted a mature look on the cover of the track.
The black and white shoot sees members JJ Hamblett and Josh Cuthbert take on a smouldering stance whilst Jaymi Hensley and fan favourite George Shelley opt for a cheeky grin.
Whilst the show's fans have to wait a while longer to hear any material from winner James Arthur, the boys have been quick to the post and the single will drop as early as June 2nd.
The band have teamed up with a group of producers responsible for making tracks for the likes of boy band royalty such as Westlife and more recently One Direction.
'If you’d have told us at the beginning of the X Factor auditions that we’d have a record deal and would be releasing a single we wouldn’t have believed you.
'We’re so excited to release Carry You and hope everyone likes it as much as we do. Everyone can relate to the track.'
The new single comes after the band were mobbed by a group of girls at the Jog On To Cancer event recently, in a sight reminiscent of their pop counterparts One Direction.
'To be honest with you we are quite bad with chat up lines. We are like four geeks,’ said 19-year-old singer George Shelley.
‘I don’t think we are ever going to get used to it to be honest. We go back to our normal lives every night and then when we wake up in the morning there is this lifestyle with all these girls. It’s weird, we’re just normal guys.’
The boys are the latest amongst a string of acts to have penned recording contracts with X Factor boss Simon Cowell at Sony.
Ella Henderson and Jahmene Douglas were amongst the other contestants who also signed deals along with winner James Arthur.
