From HGV to fast enough for a grand prix! Lorry driver grandfather-of-three, 60, swaps driving his Scania 410 for £275,000 212mph McLaren 720S Spider after winning competition

A lorry driver has swapped driving a HGV for one of the world's fastest supercars worth a staggering £275,000 after winning a competition.

Andrew Olsen, 60, from Caerphilly, south Wales, is used to hauling heavy loads in his Scania 410, which has a top speed of 55mph and takes 33 seconds to travel from 0 to 60mph, without a trailer.

But Mr Olsen, who has been a lorry driver for 15 years, has won a luxury McLaren 720S Spider supercar, which reaches 0 to 60mph in just 2.8 seconds and can hit a top speed of 212mph.

The married grandfather-of-three now owns the same car as Hollywood hardman Jason Statham, baseball player José Ramírez, and other A-list celebrities.
