Two Wembley stewards are arrested 'for trying to sell their passes to England's Euro 2020 final for £4,500'
Two stewards have been arrested after attempting to sell their Wembley passes for the Euro 2020 final online for £4,500.
The stewards tried to sell their passes for the stadium along with high-vis bibs, security passes and wristbands, according to an investigation by The Sun.
The passes had been listed on a Facebook site titled UEFA Face Value Tickets Swap and Sell, the publication reports.
The advert reportedly said: 'Steward pass available x2 with uniform and pass. Anyone wants to get in I have 2 passes and 2 uniforms and wristbands for you to go in and watch the game.'
The stewards were arrested following a sting by the Metropolitan Police after a reporter from The Sun posed as a buyer for the passes.
The news lays bare the shocking state of security at the stadium, where as many as 5,000 ticketless fans may have forced their way into the final between England's Three Lions and the Italian team, which was won by Italy after a tense penalty shoot out.

The Met last night released images of those they wish to speak to in connection with the violence that marred the final.
The stewards reportedly planned to vacate their posts hours before kick off, the publication reports, and the buyers would take their place in the stands.
Advertising their post, the audacious stewards even shared a picture of their clear view of the pitch from Wembley stadium's stands in a bid to attract buyers.
The picture claimed to show the two stewards watching England play Denmark in the semi-final.
The would-be-buyer, a Sun reporter, was told to stick their own photo on the steward's security pass, telling them 'it's not as secure as you think.'
The two stewards were later arrested by six officers following a police sting with officers striking as they waited to complete the deal outside a supermarket near the stadium, the publication reported.

Police told The Sun: 'Two men were taken to a West London police station and have since been released under investigation.'
The force said an 18-year-old man from Ilford, London and an 18-year-old man from Newham, London, were arrested on suspicion of theft.
Both men have both been released under police investigation after the breach of security at Wembley stadium.
The FA are also supporting the police in their investigation.
Police tonight released photographs of another ten thugs wanted in connection with the violence that marred the Euro 2020 final at Wembley.
The images from the stadium and Central London were found by detectives after they scoured hundreds of hours of CCTV and police bodycam footage.
The Metropolitan Police, which has come in for stinging criticism over its handling of the event last Sunday, said it will bring those responsible for shocking scenes of violence to justice.
Detective Sergeant Matt Simpson said: 'Following the scenes of disorder both at Wembley Stadium and in central London, we made a commitment that those responsible would face consequences.
'Today's action is being taken to help identify those who we think have questions to answer. If you know who they are, we urge you to get in touch as soon as possible.
'This investigation is in its very early stages and I am in no doubt that further appeals and arrests will follow.
'We also continue to support police action across the UK to identify those responsible for the racist and offensive comments posted on social media.'

With capacity for England's first major final for 55 years limited to 60,000, yobs knew there would be empty seats so deployed a series of tactics to sneak into the stadium.
These included tailgating those with tickets through turnstiles, forcing open exit doors and disabled entrances, and bribing security guards to let them in.
Former Met deputy assistant commissioner Andy Trotter has described the Wembley scenes as 'a stain on our country's reputation'.
And current deputy assistant commissioner Jane Connors said the final could have been abandoned if police had not stepped in.

The racial abuse of some England players following the match also marred its aftermath.
It prompted the Government to announce it is changing the terms of the football banning order regime to cover online racism.
Since the final, five people have been arrested over their alleged social media posts.
As of June 13, 897 football-related incidents and 264 arrests had been recorded across the country in the 24-hour period surrounding the final, according to the United Kingdom Football Policing Unit.
That took the number of football-related incidents during the tournament to 2,344, and arrests to 630. Italy won the match on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
