Surfer, 31, goes missing from hospital in Hawaii before his phone is found days later beside a road as his mother pleads for help to find him
A desperate family are hunting for their 31-year-old relative who has gone missing on Hawaii's Oahu island.
Robby Gallagher, a body surfer, was last seen on the island on November 2 when he was taken to a medical center for an unknown condition.
Mother Cathy said he checked himself out without receiving treatment, and hasn't made contact with his family since.

His cellphone was found several days later by the side of a road around 20 miles from the medical center.
Family members say there have been two subsequent sightings of Robby - the first at a 7-11 store close to the hospital on the night he went missing.
The second, was around the same area on November 16.
Cathy and her other son, Brian, are now on the island putting up posters and investigating the leads.
Speaking to Hawaii News Now, Cathy said: 'I'm just really concerned about him and I’m praying that he’s alive.
'I’m just reaching out to anybody that can help us. I think this is probably a parent’s worst nightmare.'
The family say Robby is a competitive body surfer who is known to people along Oahu's north shore.
