Answering questions Monday in Wilmington, Delaware, Biden said he was going to scale-back his own plans as coronavirus cases have spiked around the country.

COVID-19, however, has not prevented Trump from traveling in the past.

He held rally after rally in the run-up to the November 3 general election, addressing primarily mask-less crowds packed together in key swing states.

Since the election was called, however, he's only popped his head up twice - to speak publicly in the White House Rose Garden about a promising coronavirus vaccine on Friday.

Both Trump and the first lady also marked Veterans Day on Wednesday.

Over the weekend, he traveled both Saturday and Sunday by motorcade to his Virginia golf resort.

Otherwise, the president has communicated to the public via Twitter, while Rudy Giuliani and other members of his legal team try to stop the election results from being certified.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled against team Trump Tuesday, saying Philadelphia officials did not violate state law by putting 15-feet between ballot-counting observers and workers.

At the same time, Giuliani tried arguing in federal court in Pennsylvania that Trump was the victim of a nationwide conspiracy.

Four other Trump-aligned cases in key states were pulled from dockets Monday.

Still, the Trump campaign charged ahead, filing an election contest Tuesday in Nevada.

Meanwhile, several Republican senators were spotted fist-bumping and congratulating Harris on the Senate floor Tuesday.

Vice President Mike Pence has been left to do the day-to-day elements of the job.

Pence and his wife Karen attended the Resilience space launch in Florida Sunday.

One of Trump's top COVID-19 advisers, Dr. Scott Atlas, who isn't an infectious disease expert, actually suggested that Americans invite their elderly relatives to Thanksgiving dinner, in case it's their last.

'For many people this is their final Thanksgiving, believe it or not. We have to have a policy... which is a whole person policy. It's not just about stopping cases of COVID,' Atlas said on Fox News.

That advice ran counter to that given by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's top infectious disease expert, who said Americans may have to cancel holiday affairs.

'People should be very careful about social gatherings, particularly when members of the family might be at a risk because of their age,' Fauci said in October.

'You may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice that social gathering unless you’re pretty certain that the people that you’re dealing with are not infected,' he said.
