Woman, 29, is accused of sexually abusing two teenage boys known to her

A 29-year-old woman is accused of sexually assaulting two young teenage boys in the NSW Hunter Valley.

Last month detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad began investigating the alleged sexual abuse of two boys by a woman who was known to them.

The woman was arrested at a home near Maitland on Tuesday and charged with sexually touching a child between 10 and 16 years, two counts of having sexual intercourse with a child between 14 and 16 years and two counts of having sexual intercourse with child between 10 and 14 years.

She was also charged with two counts of common assault and a drug offence.

Police will allege in court that the woman sexually assaulted the boys at a home near Maitland between August and September.

The woman will appear at Maitland Local Court on Wednesday.
