Sisters of Boston bombing suspects 'were nearly evicted from their home

The sisters of the two Boston bombing suspects were nearly evicted for not paying their rent and argued constantly, a former landlord has revealed.

Speaking exclusively to the MailOnline on Friday, Alex Malyava, 39, revealed that Elena and Bella were a headache - as his other tenants pleaded with him to evict the pair.

In addition to the late-night fighting, Malyava said that the girls fell behind with rent and that he filed eviction proceedings against them - only for them to move out last January.

The pair are believed to be sisters of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, who are suspected of making and planting the bombs that killed three people and injured 170 at the Boston Marathon on Monday.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, left, is the older brother who was killed in running gun battles with police last night. His brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, is still on the run

A third sister was questioned by federal agents at her home in New Jersey on Friday.

Tamerlan was killed by police after a dramatic shootout last night. Dzhokhar remains on the run and authorities say he is armed and extremely dangerous.

'There were constant arguments late into the night,' Malyava said of the sisters.

'The neighbours were sick of them always arguing. The other tenants would plead with me to evict them and the girls were rude to the other tenants when asked to calm down.'

Describing the two young girls as in their 20s, Malyava said they spoke accented English but he communicated with them in Russian. 'I knew they were from the former Soviet Union - I think Chechnya,' Malyava said

'When I first met them I thought that they were nice girls,' he added.

Describing their money troubles, Malyava said that they fell behind with rent in late 2012 and he filed eviction proceedings against them.

Having moved in to 385 Kamena Street, Fairview, New Jersey, in February 2012 the girls eventually settled with Malyava and moved out.

Malyava said that all he knows is that they both got married and now live at separate addresses.

A sister of the Boston bombing suspects is 'heartbroken and devastated' after meeting with police and FBI about her brothers' involvement in the atrocious attack.

Police officers of West New York, New Jersey and FBI descended on the home of the woman who is believed to be Ailina Tsarnaev just after 11am on Friday.

Federal agents were seen removing cell phones and computers from her quiet suburban home in West New York in New Jersey.

Hunt is on: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was at large on Friday. Thousands of officers hunted him in Watertown, Massachusetts

Two police trucks are being sent to her home after it was feared that Dzhokhar might try to reach her.

However police did not expect the 19-year-old suspect to arrive.

Police director Michael Indri told reporters she is a young mother with a baby girl and that she had not spoken to either brother 'in years'.

The director went on to describe the siblings as 'estranged'. The reason for the falling out is unclear.

Indri said to the best of his knowledge there has been no attempt by Dzhokhar to contact his sister but the FBI said it is a possibility.

The FBI are no longer at the property but her front door is being guarded by two police officers.

Director Indri was unaware how the young woman discovered that her brothers were the most wanted men in America but said that she ‘was co-operating fully’.
