This is the moment Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was filmed putting her face mask on for a group photograph - only to whip it off a minute later during a rally on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
The video footage shows Ocasio-Cortez sitting among a group of activists fighting for an extension of the eviction moratorium without a mask on Monday.
An event organizer can then be heard telling everyone to come together on the steps of the Capitol Building before Ocasio-Cortez can be seen quickly putting a light blue face mask on.
A minute later, in the footage captured by Breitbart News, the Democrat can be seen speaking to activists without her mask.
Ocasio-Cortez was also joined by Democrat senator Ed Markey in putting a face mask on the group photo, despite the pair going unmasked for the rest of the rally.

Markey, who had not been wearing a mask for around 45 minutes before the photograph, decided to put a face covering on for the picture. Just seconds after the picture was taken, he was seen pulling it down below his chin.
Wearing masks have sparked controversy in Congress in recent weeks, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi seeking to impose fines ranging from $500 to $2,500 on those who do not wear them.
Republican representatives Thomas Massie, Ralph Norman and Marjorie Taylor Greene have announced they were suing Pelosi over the issue.

AOC and other members of the Squad were later seen celebrating on the steps of the Capitol on Tuesday after the Center for Disease Control and Prevention extended the eviction moratorium for 60 days.
CDC director Rochelle Walensky signed an order that determined the 'evictions of tenants for failure to make rent or housing payments could be detrimental to public health control measures' to slow the spread of COVID, the agency announced.
The order expands the eviction moratorium until October 3 and applies to counties 'experience substantial and high levels' of COVID transmission.
The order will allow more time 'to further increase vaccination rates,' the CDC said, calling it an 'effective public health measure.'
'This moratorium is the right thing to do to keep people in their homes and out of congregate settings where COVID-19 spreads,' Walensky said. 'Such mass evictions and the attendant public health consequences would be very difficult to reverse.'
It will cover about 90 per cent of renters in the country, White House officials said.
