Bondi man caught breaking lockdown FOUR TIMES is finally arrested after travelling to virus-plagued southwest Sydney
A Sydney man has been arrested after being caught breaching lockdown to travel across the city to the Covid-plagued south-west on four separate occasions.
The man from Bondi in the city's east was busted breaking the rules for a fourth time by police on Wednesday with Deputy Commissioner Gary Worboys saying his time was finally up.
The man was taken to the police station and has been refused bail to face court.
'Here is a person that on four occasions blatantly disregarded the public health order,' Commissioner Worboys said.

'It is not just about the person themselves, it is about their family, their community, about people who openly go outside of the orders and put everyone at risk, and continue to keep us in this lockdown the situation longer than what we might normally do.'
Across the state 671 infringements were handed out within the past 24 hours with a record breaking 681 cases announced on Thursday.
A total of 393 fines were handed out to those who were outside of their homes without a reasonable excuse.
A group of men were caught playing soccer together outside in Smithfield, in western Sydney and were hit with fines.
Under current health orders those who are found breaching the two-person exercise limit can be fined $3,000.

'They absolutely knew that they were doing the wrong thing,' Commissioner Worboys said.
'They were issued with infringement notices and told to go back to their residences.'
ADF troops have also now been deployed in Dubbo and Newcastle to ensure residents are complying with lockdown restrictions.
Both areas have seen a concerning climb in cases and exposure sites.
Meanwhile, a man in his 80s in Sydney's south-west has died from the virus.
He had one dose of the coronavirus vaccine and had underlying health issues.
Of the new cases, 59 were contagious in the community and the isolation status of 459 infections is still a mystery to contact tracers.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian revealed a record 110,000 Covid-19 vaccinations had been administered in NSW in the last day - and that the state was now on target to fully immunise 70 per cent of its population by the end of October.

'Once we get to the end of October we expect 70 per cent of the population to be fully vaccinated,' she said.
'Once we get to mid November we expect that figure to reach 80 per cent.
'It gives enormous opportunities for greater freedoms than we do today.'
NSW Health said 463 of the new cases were found in west and south-west Sydney.
Ms Berejiklian said the vast majority of the new cases were found in Merrylands, Guildford, Auburn, Granville, Lidcombe, Greenacre and Blacktown.
Authorities have meanwhile extended regional NSW's lockdown to at least August 28 - in line with the expiry date for Greater Sydney's stay-at-home orders - after another 25 cases were found in the state's west.
