Teenage motorcyclist is shot dead during road rage incident on Texas highway after HE pulled a gun on driver who cut him off
A motorcyclist was shot dead in the middle of a Texas highway after exchanging gunfire with a driver of a SUV during a road rage incident last Friday.
The motorcyclist - JaDerek Gray, 19 - allegedly pointed a gun at a SUV driver who cut him off on Interstate 35 in Forth Worth before the driver pulled his own gun and shot Gray multiple times, Fox 4 reported.
Police told Fox 4 they believe Gray also fired but didn't hit anyone and police believe the SUV driver acted in self-defense.

Before gunshots rang out, Gray was driving in between traffic on I-35, an illegal maneuver in Texas called 'lane splitting,' when the SUV driver changed lanes and cut him off, according to local media reports.
Police said Gray sped ahead of the SUV, stopped the motorcycle in the middle of the highway to block traffic and pulled the gun.
The SUV driver, who said he had children in the car with him, pulled out his own gun and shot Gray, police told Fox 4.
'I saw a motorcycle. A green motorcycle speed pass me up between me and the next car. Maybe 10-15 seconds later, I hear four gunshots,' witness Isel Valenzuela told Fox 4. 'I look over and I see him laying there. With blood all on his chest and his stomach.'

The driver of the SUV hasn't been identified or arrested
Valenzuela said he tried to help Gray by applying pressure to his wounds until paramedics arrive, but his efforts were for naught. Gray was rushed to a hospital were he was pronounced dead.
As of Saturday morning - eight days after the incident - no arrests have been made, but the investigation is ongoing.
'At the end of the day, he's still a human being. I would have done it for anybody,' Valenzuela told Fox 4. 'I don't know how it went down, but it's something that at the end of the day could have been avoided and they both could have made it home.'
