Furry friend! Baby can't get enough of her father's scratchy beard as she snuggles up to him in sweet video

This is the precious moment a baby girl can't get enough of her father's beard and snuggles against his neck.  

Two-month-old Olivia discovered at a very early age that the perfect tool for a nice, relaxing head scratch was her loving father's beard.

This video, recorded by Olivia's mother, Megan Catchpole, shows Olivia as she rests on her father's chest, while ever so lightly rubbing the top of her head against his beard.

James Maxwell and Megan Catchpole, from New York, are first-time parents

Olivia's father, James Maxwell, happily stays quiet so his little girl can feel comforted. 

At first, James wonders what the little one is doing, but Megan quickly responds 'She's just snoozling.'

'Olivia, you are breathing so loudly,' says James but he happily closes his eyes and enjoys the cute bonding session with his daughter, as Megan laughs in the background.  

Olivia knows she is safe with her father and peacefully places her adorable chubby fingers on his chest. 

Megan said: 'This was the first time she had done that and ever since, has nuzzled into her father's beard. Now that she's older she will run her fingers through it.'

Sweet Olivia is now four months old and enjoys very much her father's attention.  

'She rips out her hair all the time too!' said Megan. 

The video by the the first-time parents, from New York, was posted on TikTok on July 21 and has had more than 900,000 likes.  

'What an awesome daddy,' said one viewer. 

While another commented 'Omg, little baby snorts!'
