'Bone Finder' excavator pinpoints five locations where ground was recently disturbed on Fotis Dulos' property: Search intensifies for missing wife Jennifer
An excavator known as the 'Bone Finder' has shared photos and footage of five locations where the ground had been disturbed on a property once owned by Fotis Dulos in the search for his missing estranged wife Jennifer's remains.
Bob Perry was brought in last week to help Connecticut State Police once again search the Farmington property that had been owned by Fotis and his construction company when Jennifer vanished back in 2019.
While detectives have previously searched the property during the long-running investigation, they asked Perry to help them re-examine parts of it using his ground-penetrating radar equipment.
The 73-year-old, who is known as the 'Bone Finder', is a New Hampshire-based cemetery geophysics expert renowned for being able to locate unmarked graves or find where remains may be buried.
Perry, who runs his company Topographix and has previously appeared on the History Channel, uses his radar technology to find anomalies in the ground.

Investigators brought him in to pinpoint locations on the 5-acre property where the body of the mother-of-five could have potentially being buried.
Jennifer hasn't been seen since May 2019 when she vanished from New Canaan, Connecticut while in the middle of a bitter custody battle with her estranged husband.
Fotis was later charged with her murder but he vehemently denied it. He was accused of plotting against Jennifer with the help of his then-girlfriend, Michelle Troconis. Fotis died in hospital in January last year just days after being found unresponsive at his home after gassing himself in his car.
In last week's search of the property police were specifically interested in a wood line area that Fotis had previously discussed with surveyors when he was trying to sell the property after Jennifer vanished.
Fotis had apparently asked the surveyors if any future owners would be able to dig up that portion of the land to potentially put in a pool. The surveyors later reported the comments to authorities.
During his search, Perry ended up finding five locations where the soil had been disturbed.
It is not clear when the ground was disturbed.
He told Hearst Connecticut Media that four of the areas were near the wood line and a fifth was found in the basement of the home. Perry said the basement location was likely a long pipe that stretched into the yard.

Images of the property during the search showed red flags at the locations where Perry identified that the ground had been disturbed. Police later dug up these areas using shovels and excavators
Police have refused to say if they found any evidence of remains on the property after digging it up. Perry said investigators have also not told him if they located any evidence

How does the Bone Finder's ground-penetrating radar equipment work?
Ground Penetrating Radar is a form of sub-surface imaging that uses a transmitter and antenna to indicate what is below the ground.
It can be used to located unmarked graves and mass burial sites.
The transmitter send electromagnetic pulses into the ground to detect if any objects can be located.
Signals are then returned in the form of images if objects are detected.
Graves will often appear as bumps. Things like tree roots often show up as pointier shapes.

An image of the basement showed a section of discolored concrete that appeared to have been re-cemented at some point.
Perry said that even though the ground had been disturbed, the reading on his machines did not indicate that a body was currently buried there.
Investigators later searched the areas he identified by digging it up with shovels and excavators.
Police have refused to say if they found any evidence of remains on the property. Perry said investigators have also not told him if they located any evidence.
Authorities were spotted last week digging holes on the property but would not say at the time what prompted the search.
The house was initially searched in 2019 but authorities said last week they were 'following up on old leads' again.
The property Perry helped search last week was one of several Fotis and his company had been developing at the time of Jennifer's disappearance.
It has since been foreclosed on and is now for sale by the bank.
According to court documents, Fotis and Troconis had visited the property in the hours after Jennifer was last seen.
Cell phone records show that Fotis visited the property twice that day.
Once was at 1.37pm before returning hours later at 5.21pm. He never publicly explained what he was doing at the property that day.
Troconis and Fotis' former attorney, Kent Mawhinney, have both pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit murder charges. Troconis also pleaded not guilty to tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution.
Authorities have never officially declared Jennifer dead and her remains have not been located.
Prosecutors believe Fotis attacked Jennifer in garage of her home after she dropped their five children at school. Police have previously said they don't believe Jennifer could have survived the 'serious physical attack' without urgent medical attention.
Police previously said they have surveillance video allegedly showing Fotis Dulos in a pickup truck with Troconis disposing bags of items, some of which were later recovered and found to be stained with Jennifer’s blood.
