Troubled three time Hawthorn premiership winner and reality star Brian Lake faces jail again after being charged over breaching a community order he received for stalking a woman
Three time Hawthorn premiership winner and reality star Brian Lake faces being re-sentenced over a terrifying incident that saw him film his victim in her home.
Lake did not even bother to appear at the virtual hearing as he was out bush for 'work purposes' and couldn't get any phone or Internet reception.
The Melbourne Magistrates' Court heard Lake had been charged with an unnamed offence, which constituted a breach of his original sentence in April last year.

His lawyer, William Parker, told the court the matter was at such a 'low level' he did not believe it constituted a breach.
Lake is expected to plead guilty to the charges in February next year when he appears again before Magistrate Jennifer Grubissa, who sentenced him last year.
Ms Grubissa had warned Lake, who had spent two days in jail at the time, that she would personally ensure he was brought back before her if he should breach her orders.
He had been fortunate to escape jail back then with an 18-month community corrections order.
The former footballer had pleaded guilty to assault, trespassing, intentionally causing damage, and stalking his victim.
The court was told at the time Lake filmed the victim in her home and used iPad software to listen to her private conversations in the two days prior to another incident.
Magistrate Grubissa warned Lake if it was not for his lack of criminal history, she would have had no choice but to jail him.
'These are serious charges and it’s important that this reality is not lost on you,' Ms Grubissa said at the time.
The magistrate said she had also taken into account Lake had positively engaged with behaviour programs, was the financial provider for his family and was taking steps to address his mental health issues.
A month after his release, Lake was banned from playing AFL at any level until May this year.
The troubled footballer shared his de-registration letter to Instagram with the caption 'tag a mate that's had a worse 12 months than me'.
'The purpose of this letter is to inform you that you have been de-registered as a player and official in line with the National Player and Official Deregistration Policy,' the letter read.
Lake, who retired from the Hawks in 2015, was also jailed in Osaka, Japan, for one week in 2018 after an alleged altercation while playing in an AFL Asia tournament.
He was believed to have checked himself into a mental health facility after he was charged with aggravated burglary, assault and stalking offences.
But the Survivor 2018 contestant has made no secret of a painful split from his wife in earlier cryptic posts about her on Instagram.

Lake ended his nine-year marriage before leaving for Fiji to film the reality TV show Survivor for three months in 2018.
In July 2018, after Lake's arrest in Japan, his friend, Brownlow medallist Adam Cooney, expressed concern for him.
The 38-year-old was held under strict conditions in the Osaka police station for six days, during which he was given just three bowls of rice per day.
He had been celebrating a win in the Asian AFL with his team, the Indonesian Volcanoes, prior to being detained by authorities in Osaka.
In October that year, he admitted he needed professional help after a photo of him in a toilet with lines of a white substance went viral on social media.
The photo showed him in a toilet cubicle at the Caulfield Cup event with a line of a white substance on his mobile phone.
He claimed he was ready to put an end to his 'self-destruction' and head to Asia to seek professional help from a drug and alcohol facility.
'The decision has come in recent weeks after reflecting on some of the incidents that have taken place and I must accept that I need to improve my health,' Lake said at the time.
