The wrong arm of the law: Queensland Police calendar from 1994 shows just how far the force - not to mention fashion and photography - have come in 26 years
A cringeworthy pin up calendar from the 1990s has illustrated how far Queensland Police has progressed in the last 26 years.
A 'limited edition' 1994 Queensland Police calendar aimed at the female audience has resurfaced on social media.
A number of the force's finest officers star in the calendar as semi-naked models, showing off their buff bodies.

Another photo shows two officers washing down a horse while one officer poses on a bed with a dog sitting in his lap.
Two officers pose with a police motorcycle while another photo shows two scuba diver officers wearing sunglasses and wetsuits armed with oxygen tanks coming out of the water.
The December image is the cheesiest of them all, showing a half-dressed policeman with a little girl hiding a Christmas present behind her back with the background adorned with festive decorations.
The only woman featured is on the cover, disguised in sunglasses and a police helmet.

The old calendar sparked much interest when it was shared on social media platform Reddit this week.
'For those that couldn't believe it was real,' the post was captioned.
Many found the calendar cringeworthy.
'Who doesn't want oiled up, strange, shirtless, shifty looking men hanging out with a small girl? So, so many things wrong here. The one with the horse looks near as bad,' one commented.
Another added: 'Blue Heelers came out in 94. I don't recall anyone from Mount Thomas looking like this!'

Others expressed outrage over how sexist it was.
'It's a mans world and don't you forget it,' one commented.
Some expressed relief former Queensland Police officer turned federal home affairs minister Peter Dutton wasn't featured.
Sadly, it appears the police calendar didn't take off, unlike their firefighter counterparts which made their debut a year earlier.
Now in its 28th year, the Australian Firefighters Calendar is as popular as ever and has raised over $3.2million for various charities.
