Michelle Obama's DNC speech Has Been Listed before Biden picked Harris as running Partner, source says
Ex-DNC interim chair Brazile:'I'm disappointed that we didn't hear about Kamala Harris'
But a Biden campaign official told Fox News late Monday the Obama's address was listed prior to the former president declared on Aug. 11 he'd picked Harris as his running mate.
"She kept talking about Joe Biden, and she understands Joe Biden well, but she knows Kamala Harris, [who had been ] among the first to endorse Barack Obama if he ran [for president in 2008], so that I was frustrated," said Brazile, who afterwards added," ""I only heard that maybe she recorded the address prior to the statement, but I am frustrated that we didn't hear about Kamala Harris.
"The very first Black first lady of the United States didn't mention that the very first Black female to be about a significant party ticket," she emphasized. "Therefore I am somewhat disappointed that I didn't hear that.
Weekly, however, Michelle Obama cheered Harris' choice as Biden's running partner in a collection of extended posts on her private Instagram page. "You train yourself not to get your hopes up. And occasionally it is a struggle simply to keep telling your self that you could deserve more. Because regardless of how much you prepare, regardless of what grades you receive or perhaps how large you rise in the office, it always feels as though somebody is waiting to inform you you're not qualified. That you are not intelligent enough. That you are too loud or overly bossy. That there is just something about you...you are simply not quite the ideal fit.
"Change may be frustrating and slow, but indications of progress are all around us. I have been thinking about all those women growing up now who are going to have the ability to take it for granted that somebody who resembles them may develop to lead a country like ours. Since @KamalaHarris could possibly be the first, but she will not be the final.
"I'm here for this ," Obama added. "Let's celebrate this instant.
