Kylie Jenner transformed into a pinup model straight out of the 1940s in the cover design for her new cosmetics collection.

The 23-year-old makeup mogul was pictured in an American flag bikini, holding a sailor hat on her head in a pose reminiscent of Bettie Page.

Although an animated version of the image appears on her cosmetics packaging, she has posted throwback footage of her real self in the getup for the photo-shoot.

She showed off the images on her Insta Stories while dishing that the summer collection of Kylie Cosmetics will be released August 31.

Her lucky fans will be able to buy the collection in a blue and white striped container shaped like a throwback hat box, amplifying the retro effect.

Kylie's pinup picture appears on the large round lid of the box as well as on the packaging of the individual products available inside.

In a video she posted to her Insta Stories the cosmetics box sat on the grass in her backyard as Kylie's two-year-old daughter Stormi peeked inside.

She revealed during her Insta Stories that her latest summer line will feature the first-ever strip eyelashes her company has put out.

'I am so excited to introduce my first lash to Kylie Cosmetics. Ever since quarantine started I have been wearing no lash extensions,' she dished.

'I have been experimenting a lot with strips again and individuals and these are everything,' shared the daughter of Kris Jenner.

Kylie Jenner announces new Summer collection launching soon

'Okay, so we are behind the scenes of my sailor collection. I am launching my first ever lash for Kylie Cosmetics. We just put it on,' she said.

Offering her fans a close-up of her face, she demonstrated the effect of the strips by sharing that she had one on her right eyelid but not her left.

Kylie is not the first person in her family to try on the sailor girl pinup look - her big sister Kim Kardashian slipped into a similar look to cover Rolling Stone in 2015.
