Paris Hilton swatting, Paris Hilton Paris Whitney Hilton is an American heiress, socialite, television personality now another celebrity who is a victim of “swatting,” which has become a popular prank today, but annoying for the police departments around the country. Apparently this swatting prank entails reporting in a fake break-in at a celebrity's home, which is what happened to Paris, according to TMZ on March 23, 2013.
Law Enforcement said that a call came in at 5:22 p.m. PT on Saturday, saying that someone was in Paris' home. While past swatting calls about celebrities included the fake report of armed assailants, this one did not.
When the police arrived at Hilton's home, they found that no one had broken into the home and filed the call as a “prank.” It is not known if Paris was at home when the cops descended upon her property, but she tweeted just a short time after the incident and she said she was at a concert in Miami.
Recent swatting victims include: Ashton Kutcher, the Kardashians, Justin Bieber, Clint Eastwood and Chris Brown, according to TMZ.
