Michelle Obama Slammed by Vivienne Westwood for Dreadful Clothes

"Don't talk about her," Westwood snipes of the President's wife, 49. "It's dreadful what she wears."
When asked to elaborate on Obama, who recently debuted talked-about new bangs, and wore a raved-about Jason Wu gang for an inaugural ball in January, the iconoclastic designer continues: "I don't want to talk about it. Really, I can't. She's a very nice looking lady, but it’s a nonstarter regarding clothes that suit her."
Westwood compares Mrs. Obama -- unfavorably -- to the most legendarily stylish First Lady ever. "Jackie Kennedy was a different matter altogether. It just has to suit her and be something that makes a human being more glamorous. That's what fashion is there for. It's there to help, not just to make you look more conservative."
In her jibes against pregnant Kate Middleton, Westwood told reporters during London Fashion Week in February that the Duchess of Cambridge, 31, does not recycle her clothes often enough. "If you're going to all that trouble to get an outfit that suits you, then you should keep on wearing it. I mean, you don't have to have a red outfit one day and then something almost the same in blue the next."
Westwood had previously complained about Middleton's eye makeup. "The sharp line around her eyes make her look hard," she said.
