A female prison officer was today jailed for three years after she had a 'f***ing risky' sexual relationship with a convicted double murderer who killed his girlfriend and their baby daughter. Over a one month period Lauren McIntyre, 32, sent explicit messages and even facilitated her convict lover beating a fellow prison officer, whom she had previously had an affair with. Appearing at Isle of Wight Crown Court on Thursday, the mother of four-month-old baby twins and a five-year-old was heard sobbing hysterically as she was jailed. She claimed she first began the affair with prisoner Andrew Roberts in a bid to uncover intelligence but it then spiralled out of control. Pope Francis changed church law to explicitly allow Catholic women to play a greater role during Mass, while continuing to affirm that they cannot be priests. Francis amended the law to formalise and institutionalise what is common practice in many parts of the world: that women can read the Gospel and serve on the altar as eucharistic ministers.
