'I'm the unmasked singer': Kirk Cameron slams the 'mask gestapo' for criticizing his two maskless caroling protests in California

Kirk Cameron has slammed the 'mask gestapo' for criticizing his two maskless caroling protests in California.  The 50-year-old actor organized a second potential superspreader event Tuesday outside a coronavirus testing center in Thousand Oaks, California. Roughly 100 maskless carolers gathered after the Growing Pains star posted on social media: 'Let your voice be heard at this peaceful protest praising the Prince of Peace.' Following that protest, several people took to Twitter calling Cameron a 'growing pain'.  During an interview with Newsmax on Wednesday, he addressed those critics with a joke, saying: 'You know, we've all heard of and it's quite the rage, but ever since we started these Christmas caroling peaceful protests, I've been affectionately dubbed the unmasked singer and triggered a whole different kind of rage.' Londoners sipped takeaway pints in a busy Borough Market today as they faced Christmas under tough Tier 4 restrictions - while across the country high street footfall plunged due to the pandemic. Footfall across all bricks and mortar retail sites in the UK was 40% lower today than on Christmas Eve last year, with central London seeing a 79% plunge following the closure of essential shops. In Tier 4 areas overall footfall was down by 27% from last week, while in Tier 1 the number of people in town centres rose by a quarter, according to Springboard data. It came as huge queues formed outside supermarkets amid warnings that the continuing chaos at Dover will cause a shortage of certain foods. The British Retail Consortium has warned that there could be a lack of some fresh goods until the backlog of trucks is cleared, while the Food and Drink Federation is warning of 'significant disruption'. The husband of Stella Tennant spoke candidly about their marriage years before her death saying the secret to their 20 year marriage was: 'We want to make it work'.  David Lasnet also credited the model with 'lifting him out of depression' early in their marriage but said she did not know the depths of the support she had given him. He made the coments in a candid interview about their marriage nine years before her death. Tennant split from her husband of two decades, earlier this year.  The aristocratic supermodel - famed for her androgynous punk style - was found dead at their home on the Scottish borders this week.  Although the circumstances of her death are unknown, it was claimed that the model was concerned about the impact of Covid on the fashion industry and had concerns she would not work again.    Paris-born photographer Mr Lasnet previously described his wife as 'super-supportive' and credited her with improving his mental health after he suffered d
