Josh Hall, a fervent Trump supporter, said that he created the accounts for Elizabeth Trump Grau, their brother Robert Trump, and a series of other political figures just to amuse himself. He also made money, selling t-shirts and soliciting $7,300 in donations via a GoFundMe page. The English Inquisition: Church of England team get power to probe and charge sex abuse clergy

The first English inquisition to investigate and charge clergy accused of child sexual abuse is being set up by the Church of England. A central office should be created to look into abuse allegations against bishops, vicars, priests or cathedral clergy, according to a report commissioned by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby. It will take over the power bishops have to examine complaints of serious misconduct. Experts in the body will bring suspects for trial before a new tribunal system, which is likely to be supervised by judges from the secular legal system. Reform: Justin Welby This ‘central office’ would be the first organisation set up to police clergy in England in nearly 1,000 years.  It mirrors the Vatican organisation – the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith – charged by Pope Francis with investigating allegations of child sex abuse against Roman Catholic priests. It was founded in 1542 as the Roman inquisition against heresy, under the name

President Donald Trump brushed off criticism that the White House is holding large holiday receptions at a time medical experts are warning against such gatherings because of the COVID pandemic. He argued he's seen guests wear face masks so that makes the parties okay.  'They are Christmas parties. We reduced the number and I see a lot of people wearing masks. That's a good thing,' the president said Tuesday. The White House has scheduled more than 20 holiday events this month, which range from tours of the holiday decor to cocktail receptions to Thursday's black-tie Congressional ball.  And photos posted to social media show a large number of attendees - including President Trump's children - are not wearing face masks as they celebrate the first family's last Christmas in the White House.  Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, both of whom have tested positive for COVID in the past, were at a recent White House reception not wearing face
