Miracle boy Ace, one, wakes up from a coma after horror car crash that saw his parent's SUV plunge into a dam and kill two of his siblings

A baby boy who was left fighting for his life after a horror crash that killed his two siblings has woken from a coma.  One-year-old Ace was travelling with his parents Dylan Wadley, 23, and fiancee, Mel Martin, 33, to their home in Pratten, Queensland, when their Land Rover crashed through a guardrail on Sunday afternoon. The car, which had their four children inside, went hurtling into Wyaralong Dam near Beaudesert in Queensland's south-east. Ms Martin's 13-year-old son Leo Larsen and four-year-old daughter Mia couldn't be saved, despite Mr Wadley's desperate efforts to rescue the pair trapped in the back seat.  Ace was airlifted to Queensland Children's Hospital in a critical condition and his five-week-old sister Hope miraculously escaped without serious injury. Vice President-elect Kamala Harris stopped by the DC Central Kitchen on Wednesday to thank volunteers as they prepare Thanksgiving meals. NYPD cop 'who shot and injured his wife's personal trainer when he found them alone outside home in the middle of the night' is indicted on assault charge

An off-duty NYPD sergeant has turned himself in after being indicted on an assault charge for allegedly shooting and injuring his wife's personal trainer when he found the two of them talking outside the couple's home at night. Sgt Justin Ellis, 35, on Wednesday was arraigned in Nassau County District Court on a felony count of second-degree assault stemming from his October 2019 armed confrontation with fitness instructor Patrick Catania.  The NYPD officer was released on his own recognizance pending his next court date scheduled for January 7. A 13-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being attacked with a metal pole yesterday afternoon in south west London.  Videos posted on social show a man involved in a row with several people in Lambeth, at 3.23pm yesterday.  The Metropolitan Police confirmed a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH.  A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH following an attack on a 13-year-old boy yesterday afternoon in Lambeth, south west London. Dallas Cowboys strength coach Markus Paul died Wednesday, a day after being taken to the hospital after experiencing a medical emergency at the team's facility.  He was 54. The team said the cause of death was pending, but it was not believed to be related to COVID-19.
