Family of a 16-year-old boy who went missing after a late night swim with friends say they won't give up until his body is found - after the search for the teenager was called off

The family of a teenage boy who vanished in the ocean after going for a late night dip with friends say they won't give up hope of finding him alive. Matiyas Bekuretsion disappeared after going for an evening swim with three friends in rough conditions at Scarborough Beach in Perth after 8pm on Monday night. The group got into trouble in the water, with three of the teens being rescued back to shore by locals, but the 16-year-old, who can't swim, has not been seen since. Search parties including water police, helicopters, boats and surf life savers combed the area for 36 hours to no avail, with the search effort suspended and declared a recovery mission on Tuesday night. The U.S. government now plans to execute the first female inmate in almost six decades just days before President-elect Joe Biden, an opponent of the death penalty, takes office. Attorneys for Lisa Montgomery said Monday that the Justice Department rescheduled her execution for Jan. 12. Biden's inauguration comes Jan. 20. Two women who were detained in northern Montana by US Customs and Border Protection agents for speaking Spanish while shopping at a convenience store have reached an undisclosed monetary settlement in their lawsuit against the agency, the ACLU of Montana announced Tuesday. Ana Suda and Martha 'Mimi' Hernandez, both US citizens, said their constitutional rights were violated when they were detained in the parking lot outside the store in the city of Havre for 40 minutes after an agent demanded their identifications. 'Sex slave' NYC priest, 57, who was accused of spending $1million of church funds to pay for his BDSM master died from chronic alcohol abuse, autopsy reveals

An autopsy has revealed that a 'sex slave' New York City priest who was accused of spending $1million of church money on a BDMS master whose urine he drank died of chronic alcohol abuse.  The Rev. Peter Miqueli, 57, was found dead in his New Jersey home in July, four years after he resigned from the church after being sued by parishioners.  They claimed he used $1million of church money to pay for his 'master' - Keith Crist - and that he also paid cash for his home with money stolen from them.  The lawsuit was not resolved but he was cleared of wrongdoing by The Bronx District Attorney’s Office.  He stepped down and was suspended by the Archdiocese of New York three years later.  On Tuesday, the New York Daily News revealed the results of his autopsy which show he died of 'arrhythmia due to occlusive coronary heart disease associated with severe cardiomyopath' which is often caused by excessive drinking.
