A Mexican mayor has threatened his residents will jail time or community service if they refuse to wear face coverings as the city combats the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.  San Pedro Mixtepec mayor Freddy Gil issued the order Friday and said it will remain in place for 30 days.  Anyone dismissing the order will be subject to six hours in jail or could be ordered to do three hours of community service or could be fined 150 Mexican pesos - or US$7. Utah fire officials have confirmed that one of the state's fires that broke out over the weekend was started by police target shooting as firefighters in neighboring Colorado battle a massive blaze that has scorched more than 8,000 acres and forced nearly 3,000 evacuations.   The Range Fire has nearly doubled in size across 3,450 acres since it started on Saturday. A man who dangled himself off the 16th floor balcony of Trump Tower in Chicago and threatened to cut his rope unless he could speak to the president has been taken into custody after more than 13 hours. The Chicago Police Department confirmed shortly before 7am local time that the situation had been 'resolved peacefully' by on-site negotiators and no injuries were sustained. The man, who is in his 20s and identified himself as a Black Lives Matter protester, had been hanging off a 16th-floor balcony of the tower since around 5:30pm Sunday.
