Republican Steve King and Democrat Barney Frank rush to politicize Boston Marathon terror attacks

Barney Frank, an ultra-liberal former Massachusetts Democratic Congressman, and Rep. Steve King, a right-wing flamethrower from Iowa, were the first two national figures to politicize Monday's Boston massacre. King said in an interview with the conservative National Review magazine that the Senate's immigration reform bill should stop dead in its tracks, reacting to early reports that a Saudi suspect in the U.S. on a student visa had been detained for questioning. Frank said Tuesday on MSNBC, as reported by Mediaite, that the bombing attacks at the Boston Marathon showed that Republicans' calls for tax cuts could hinder the federal government's responses to terror attacks and other tragedies that local governments aren't equipped to handle on their own. SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO Frank complained that conservatives 'criticize government, belittle public employees [and] talk about their pensions' without noting the work government can't do unless taxes are

Conspiracy theorists claim Boston was 'false flag' attack arranged by the government

Conspiracy theorists started forming their theories about the Boston marathon bombings just hours after the attack, as they claimed the explosions were set up by American government forces. In the first press conference following the fatal explosions that left three dead and 176 injured, a conservative blogger asked whether it was a 'false flag staged attack'. False flag attacks are instances where governments are thought to have arranged a violent incident- theoretically like Monday's bombing- in order to scare its citizens into handing over controls to the federal authorities. Runners continue to run towards the finish line of the Boston Marathon as an explosion erupts near the finish line WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Man asks MA Governor if marathon attack was a false flag Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick flatly denied the claim, though that has not stopped conspiracy theorists from finding supposed proof that they believe backs up an alternate version of events. In for a ruff ride: Trio of dogs hit the open road in a sidecar attached to owner's

This trio of furry bikers likes nothing more than to feel the wind in their ears. So whenever Mary Mayhead hits the open road in her Moto Guzzi motorcycle, she brings her three pet dogs along for the ride. Alsatians Mari, Kiri and Hine have even been kitted out with their own goggles - or 'doggles' - for their trips along Australia's Sunshine Coast in their owner's sidecar. Faithful companions: Mary Mayhead treats her dogs Hine, Mari and Kiri to a spin in the sidecar of her motorcycle 'When I bring out the bike, they run into it,' said Ms Mayhead, a dog trainer. 'Kiri usually claims the best spot at the front so she can get the wind in her face without the other two blocking it. 'They go everywhere with us. 'The rule is when they have their doggles on they have to sit quietly but when they come off they can get out and have a run,' she said. Cat rescued after two days trapped on top of a freeway sign 15ft above the road

A ginger cat has been rescued after spending two days marooned on top of a freeway sign in Elkhart, Indiana. Local police received a call last Thursday, April 11, about a cat on top of a sign near the St. Joseph Valley Parkway overpass, but officers called off their search when they couldn't find the cat. The next day, however, the Humane Society of Elkhart County received a similar call and shelter workers spotted the orange cat sitting on top of a light on the sign, about 15 feet from the overpass. The ginger cat spent two days marooned on top of a freeway sign in Elkhart, Indiana before being rescued The Humane Society of Elkhart County believe someone must have thrown the cat off the overpass bridge. The Elkhart Street Department helped retrieve the cat and he was taken to the Humane Society. 'He was a little on the dehydrated side,' Gonterman said. 'He ate right away, so he was pretty hungry, too.' The local humane society believes someone must have thro

When the Jews facing extermination fought back: Haunting new images

A large proportion of Polish schoolchildren are openly anti-Semitic, a shocking new survey suggests today. The study, carried out at schools across the capital Warsaw, showed more than 60 per cent of those asked would be 'unhappy' if they discovered their boyfriend or girlfriend was Jewish. The poll was commissioned by the city's Jewish leaders to mark this Friday’s 70th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, where hundreds of ghetto dwellers were slaughtered attempting to fight back against the Nazis. But disturbingly, one in four said they thought the camp where Hitler sealed Jewish occupants into a controlled zone was a 'success.' Shocking: A quarter of Polish schoolchildren believe the Warsaw ghetto (above) where thousands of Jews were slaughtered by the Nazis was successful Worrying findings: The poll was commissioned by the city's Jewish leaders to mark this Friday's 70th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising Rounded up: The Uprising began on Apr

Huts used as temporary homes by the workers who built Stonehenge are reconstructed 4,500 years later

It is one of Britain's most celebrated and historical monuments, built thousands of years ago by a dedicated team of workmen. With no enormous diggers and machines, the workmen all lived close to Stonehenge as they developed the site. And now, more than 4,500 years later, the huts used as temporary homes by the workmen have been reconstructed. However, there is one noticeable and rather smelly difference. Historic: The huts used as temporary homes by the workmen who built Stonehenge are being reconstructed. It is unlikely, however, that the workmen did not live next to a pig farm all those years ago Ancient: The huts are replicas of those lived in 4,500 years ago by workmen who built Stonehenge Attraction: Three of the Neolithic houses will form the focal point of the new £27million visitor centre at Stonehenge Project: A team of 60 volunteers is currently test-building the huts in a living history project at a nearby site at Old Sarum, near Salisbury, Wiltshire It is
