Meanwhile, a suicide bomber drove an explosive-laden truck into the entrance of an Iraqi army base in the town of Iskandariyah, some 50 km south of Baghdad, killing at least two people and wounding more than 10 others, a local police source anonymously told Xinhua. Separately, another car bomb ripped through Iskandariyah wounding ten people, the source said. Elsewhere, at least four soldiers were wounded in a car

Pope officially starts ministry

Pope Francis officially began his ministry as the 266th pope on Tuesday in an installation Mass simplified to suit his style, but still grand enough to draw princes, presidents, rabbis, muftis and thousands of ordinary people to St. Peter's Square to witness the inauguration of the first pope from the New World. Francis thrilled the crowd at the start of the Mass by taking a long round-about through the sun-drenched piazza and getting out of his Jeep to bless a disabled man. It was a gesture from a man whose short papacy is becoming defined by such spontaneous forays into the crowd and concern for the disadvantaged. The blue and white flags from Francis' native Argentina fluttered above the crowd, which Italian media estimated could reach 1 million but appeared to be significantly smaller. Civil protection crews closed the main streets leading to the square to traffic and set up barricades for nearly a mile along the route to try to control the masses and allow official delega

Matt Hasselbeck cut

Matt Hasselbeck cut, Before anyone jumps off the deep end, I’m not saying that this will happen, or even should happen.  But at the risk of sensationalism, the possibility isn’t that far fetched.  The Titans have been on a bit of a spending spree in free agency as of late which is all well and good.  They had money to spend and are doing so, and the way they are spending the money has been well received.  Their biggest signing was to offensive guard Andy Levitre, and although they paid him well for a guard, he didn’t break the bank.  So far they have spread around what they had to spend and are trying to cover all their bases. By all calculations, however, the Titans should be done spending.  They entered free agency with about $18M to spend in cap room this year. Apparently they spent just over that, about $18M, in cap hits for the 2013 year with their free agent signings.  Reports have it that the Titans are still in the ball park of $5M under the cap with the departure of Jordan Ba

Lisa Rinna lip trouble

Lisa Rinna lip trouble, Even an actress known for her lips can have problems. When guest co-hosting the "Today Show" on Monday (March 18), Lisa Rinna told Hoda Kotb about her years of lip trouble. It isn't too pleasant, but Lisa at least has no regrets about her choice to create legendary lips. "I would do it again," Rinna said. "I never had a career before I had the lips. So my lips have had their own career! Without my lips, I would have had a different career, and that probably would have been a nice career." That doesn't mean that everything has been great with the lips throughout the years. "A couple of years ago I had a doctor remove as much as they possibly can," the soap star admitted. Why was that necessary? "It got to a point where they were yucky," she said. "They get hard! I mean, it's gross. So they are now just whatever that was after they took out as much of the silicone as they could. And I find it so i
