Stephanie Rose Bongiovi was arrested early Wednesday morning, after cops responded to a dorm room at Hamilton College, in upstate New York, where a female had allegedly overdosed on heroin and was unresponsive. Volunteer medical personnel were already at the scene when police arrived. Bongiovi was one of two college students arrested after a small amount of heroin was found at the scene. The singer’s daughter was arrested on misdemeanor charges including possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia. Bongiovi, who is currently at a hospital recovering, was eventually released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
