Kaley Cuoco new hairdo: New Hairdo to January's SAG Awards

Kaley Cuoco new hairdo started to trend online today when celebrities hit a red carpet event, they know their looks are going to be scrutinized the next day, but Kaley Cuoco got more than she bargained for when she donned a hideous new hairdo to January's SAG Awards, leaving many wondering what on Earth she could have been thinking. On Thursday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the 27-year-old finally answered that question.

The hairstyle that had the fashion and celeb blogosphere up in arms involved fringey, face-framing, fake-looking bangs and straightened hair that replaced her usually wavy blond locks that night. The look was dubbed everything from "helmet head" to "horrific."

Turns out the "Big Bang Theory" star had a good reason for wearing those big bangs … but admits the choice was a bad one.

While rehearsing a scene with co-star Johnny Galecki, during which their characters were supposed to be fighting, the two decided to pull a prank on fellow cast and crew members. They got into a dramatic (but fake) all-out brawl, where Galecki would pretend to be punching Cuoco and she'd go flying across the room. All went according to plan, until Cuoco realized she had actually hit her head for real and ended up with a bleeding gash that needed six stitches.

By the time the SAG Awards rolled around the following week, Cuoco had not just the stitches, but a black eye.

"It was really, really bad," she told Kimmel, "so I decided to have the brilliant idea to get bangs. As you can see I don't have bangs so I had to get fake bangs" … even though her stylists advised against it. "A bunch of them said 'let's maybe not do the bangs,' but I wanted to wear them because it covered my eye and I was really insecure about this huge black eye."

With the incident behind her, Cuoco was a truly good sport when it came to making fun of herself during the Kimmel appearance, even bringing the cursed hairpiece along with her. "These bangs who I've named Bev, Bev the bangs, almost ruined my entire career," she joked as the show put up a photo of the hideous hair. "You look like a country singer," laughed Kimmel. Reports omg.yahoo

"It's bad, yeah. It was honestly the worst reviewed hair in history," admitted the blonde, who went on to read some of the scathing web comments to laughs from the audience.

But the best was still to come. Kimmel took the opportunity to rid the young actress of "Bev" once and for all and had the studio's security guard/show regular Guillermo tie the clip-on bangs to a bundle of helium balloons before letting them fly away from the roof of the show's Hollywood studio.

"I can't let her ruin any more lives," insisted Cuoco. "I have to release her into the universe and be done with her."

Warning to Southern California residents: If these bangs land in your yard, do not attempt to wear them to an awards show. Seriously.

N.J. girls murder video: Girls Suspended After Threatens to Murder

N.J. girls murder video Two New Jersey girls are doing rounds on online ever since they video upload by two Nj girl reported.  Two girls are in serious trouble after a 20-minute video surfaced online of them talking about several teachers and classmates they wanted to kill.

The 12-year old girls can be heard talking about being assassins and threatening several people after one of them read a note aloud at school that contained a “hit list” of sorts. Though they’re laughing most of the time in the video, it’s a haunting depiction of youth to the parents of those who were named.

“My daughter, she woke up about four times last night, to lock the doors. She woke up with nightmares,” said parent Angelica Marrero.

The video has been taken down off YouTube and the girls have been pulled from school as police perform an investigation, but they say they don’t believe there was ever any real threat to students or faculty. Parents have been understandably outraged by the video. Angelica Marrero explained to CBS Local that her daughter wake up in the middle of the night in terror.

“My daughter, she woke up about four times last night, to lock the doors. She woke up with nightmares,” she explained. “We’re concerned parents here — the child obviously needs help.”

Many parents were upset that school officials didn’t address the situation sooner. During a special meeting at School 27 on Thursday, Mayor Jeffrey Jones said that he didn’t believe that the girls posed a serious threat to students and faculty.

Mayor Jones explained to the concerned parents:

“I’ve not been given any specific details, but all indications are no. It’s serious enough for us to have this investigated, especially because of the current climate we’re in. Let’s hope that it was just frustrations and emotions and they didn’t mean anything, but we can’t sit back and just hope.”

It’s currently believed that the girls could face several charges as a result of the video they uploaded to YouTube. However, police have yet to comment on the situation as of this writing.

Remains missing 13-year-old: Found in West Texas location

Remains missing 13-year-old found in a remote West Texas location last month are those of a 13-year-old middle school cheerleader missing since December 2010, authorities announced Friday.

Hailey Darlene Dunn's remains were found near Lake J.B. Thomas in Scurry County on March 16, more than two years after her mother reported her missing.

The girl's disappearance and the cause of her death remain under investigation, Scurry County Sheriff Trey Wilson said at a news conference Friday. The Scurry County District Attorney's Office received written confirmation of the identity of the remains on Friday, he said.

Texas Rangers informed the girl's mother, Billie Jean Dunn, on Friday afternoon at her Austin home, said her attorney, John Young. Dunn will be driving to West Texas to arrange her daughter's funeral, he said.

The body was found about 20 miles northwest of the girl's hometown of Colorado City. The girl had been the subject of months of intensive searches in and around Colorado City and surrounding fields and landfills after her mother reported her missing on Dec. 28, 2010. More than 100 billboards featuring her picture and information about the case were set up along interstates in Texas and other states.

The mother's boyfriend, Shawn Adkins, has said he last saw Hailey a day before she was reported missing. He said the girl told him she was going to her father's home nearby and then on to spend the night at a friend's home. She did neither.

Authorities had named Adkins as a person of interest in the girl's disappearance, but he was never charged. At one point, authorities accused the girl's mother of lying about the whereabouts of Adkins, who was found at her home. Billie Dunn pleaded no contest in June 2011 to making a false report to law enforcement and received a suspended 90-day jail term with probation.

The mother and Adkins have denied involvement in Hailey's disappearance.

Hailey's paternal grandfather, Bill Dunn, died in 2011, six months after the girl went missing. His widow, Spicy Dunn of Ponca City, Okla., said her husband spent much of the last months of his life trying to learn what became of his granddaughter.

"He was very, very hurt, and was on the computer all the time looking and trying to find anything that had to do with Hailey," she said Friday. "Anything."..Reported

She said family members made a point not to change their phone numbers so that law enforcement officials could reach them in case of any developments, even years later.

"It is a relief to know that she's at peace," Spicy Dunn said. "She doesn't have any more suffering."

She later added, "I hope the family comes to a closure. I know it's very hard."

333 heroin packets in bra: 52-year-old woman Charged

333 heroin packets in bra news went viral online today as the 52 year old lady has hide no less than 333 heroin packets in her bra and has been arrested and later charged by the authorities. On April 25, the New York Daily News reported that 52-year-old Kim Decker was pulled over around 1:30 in the afternoon in Rockaway Township, New Jersey. She had been "driving erratically" and police learned that she didn't have a valid driver's license.

There were two other people in the car with Decker whom police asked to step out of the vehicle. Cops then spotted a "wax fold" and Decker reportedly confessed that she had heroin hidden in her bra. What could have been a standard pull over turned in to quite the drug bust (bust being the operative word).

The 333 heroin packets in the woman's bra were seized when a female officer at Netcong barracks did a strip search. Decker has been charged with "possession of heroin and intent to distribute" and she's being held on $50,000 bail. Other drug-related items were found in the car as well but details were not immediately available.

As for the two passengers in the vehicle, one of them -- a 51-year-old man -- was charged with "intent to distribute" but he has been released from custody. The third passenger -- a 51-year-old man -- will also appear in court at a later date but it's unclear why. It is unknown if the two male passengers are related to Decker in any way.

The 333 heroin packets in Decker's bra may be just the beginning. Police are conducting a full investigation.

N.J. girls murder video: Gets Girls in Trouble

N.J. girls murder video, the two N.J. girls made a murder video in which they rattled off the names of students and school administration members that they'd like to kill. On April 25, CBS News reported that the two 12-year-old girls from Paterson, N.J. have gotten suspended from school and could face criminal charges. Several people were named in the video and police are currently investigating.

"Parents said they can’t understand why the school didn’t do something sooner, so on Thursday they met with officials at School 27, a meeting even Paterson Mayor Jeffrey Jones showed up to. When asked afterward he said he didn’t believe there was ever a serious threat to any students," CBS News reported.

The N.J. girls' murder video has plenty of parents concerned -- mainly those who's children's names are heard on the "hit list." It is scary to think about children murdering children but in this day and age, things like this cannot be taken lightly. It is one thing for a couple of teens to say that they don't like some of their classmates and/or teachers, but for them to say they want to kill them -- or that they are going to kill them? That's unacceptable.

The girls even described how they would murder the people on their list saying things like, "Stab him continuously in this area."

Should the N.J. girls who made the murder video be charged?

Player dies snake bite: Venomous snake bite takes Life

Player dies snake bite, of the Venomous snake. an Australian field hockey player died after being bitten by a snake and then going for a run, which worked at pumping the venom through his system faster. Not knowing that the snake that just bit him on the hand was a venomous king brown snake, Karl Berry took off for a run with the team feeling fine, according to Yahoo News on April 26, 2013.

While out on the run, Berry collapsed and when the paramedics got to him he was still conscious. Not realizing that the little bite could have anything to do with his collapse, he didn't mention it to the paramedics until after they were with him for about 15 minutes.

Berry died on Wednesday. He first came across the snake while cleaning up at Marrara Hockey Center in Darwin, Northern Territory in Australia on Tuesday. He picked up the snake and threw it into the bushes, thinking it was a non-venomous python. It was at this time the snake grabbed hold of his hand and bit him.

Going for that run sped up the venom through his body and not mentioning the snake bite to the paramedics right away worked against him. Berry was the captain of the Commerce-Pints hockey team.

Free pretzels today

Free pretzels today are being offered today at the Pretzelmaker chain to celebrate National Pretzel Day (find locations below).

Now there's a holiday that flies low under the radar. Yet it was 30 years ago that Pennsylvania Rep. Robert S. Walker declared a commemorative day for pretzels. It didn't stick. The holiday was re-declared in 2003 by Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell.

And now it's celebrated with huge parties and pretzel parades worldwide! No, it's not. But it is a great day to refresh our love for what some historians believe to be the world's oldest snack food (not to be confused with the world's oldest McDonald's hamburger).

Did you know:

-- Pretzels may have gotten their start around AD 610 in a European monastery, where monks folded scraps of dough to resemble a child's arms folded in prayer. Can you spot the pretzels in the 1559 painting (Pieter Bruegel's "The Fight Between Carnival and Lent") above?*

-- According to Guinness World Records, the largest pretzel weighed 842 pounds and was 26 feet, 10 inches in length and 10 feet, 2 inches in width. It was made in Neufahrn, Germany, on Sept. 21, 2008. It required nearly 1,184 pounds of dough.

-- The first commercial pretzel factory was established in 1861 in Pennsylvania (thus the Pennsylvania officials' unflagging interest in the baked good).

-- It is said that Americans consume 1 1/2 to 2 pounds of pretzels a year, but Philadelphians tend to eat about 12 times that amount. ...Reported.

Ready for a pretzel?

For a free salted or unsalted pretzel at Pretzelmaker (which has a number of California locations), all that's required is a joke. No word on whether it has to be family-appropriate. In 2010 and 2011, the pretzel chain asked that customers sing for a free pretzel. In 2012, they gave the option of dancing. Compared with that, a joke doesn't sound so bad.

Longoria 'I was not eating'

Longoria 'I was not eating' after divorce. EVA Longoria was "depressed" to the point of malnutrition after divorcing.

The 38-year-old actress was married to professional basketball player Tony Parker until their divorce was finalised in 2011.

They separated in 2010 after spending three years together as man and wife.

Initially Eva was so shaken by the ordeal her physical health was adversely impacted.

"[The breakup was] the time I got the most compliments, because I was so skinny,” she revealed on American daytime TV program The Dr. Oz Show.

"I was not eating. I was depressed. I was sad. My diet was coffee." reported

Eva couldn’t believe the positive response she got from many people about the way she looked at the time. The star realised later after she took blood tests with her doctor that she was actually extremely unhealthy.

"People kept saying, 'You look amazing. Divorce agrees with you. And I was like, 'I don't feel good. I have no energy.' I didn't know I was depressed. I mean, I knew it was a sad moment in my life, but I wouldn't categorise myself as depressed,” she explained.

"I was just depleted of every vitamin. [My doctor] said it's as if somebody took a straw and sucked everything out of your body. 'You don't have any iron and your liver's overacting'. It was like all these things were physically wrong with my body, so I had to saturate with vitamins and kind of get back on this track."

Eva regenerated her vigour by instituting a meticulous diet.

She dropped all things void of nutrition from her meals.

"I cut out all sugar,” Eva recalled.

Anything that turns into sugar is sugar. I love a soda, I'm not a chocolate candy person, but, I like pasta in anything. For about three months, I did a really strict no sugar diet, and I had more energy than I've ever had. My palate was different. Things tasted better.”

Gwyneth Paltrow humiliated: She Feels "Humiliated"

Gwyneth Paltrow was humiliated and went commando when she walked the red carpet in an Antonio Berardi dress at the Iron Man 3 premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood Apr. 24. According to the Oscar winner, the risque gown -- which featured sheer panels on the side -- was a last-minute decision.

"I kind of had a disaster. I was doing a show and I changed there and I went I couldn't wear underwear. I don't think I can tell this story on TV," the 40-year-old said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Apr. 26. "Well, let's just say everyone went scrambling for a razor."

Paltrow said she was "humiliated" by the bad press the garment generated. A curious DeGeneres then asked, "It was just the side of your leg. . .What is going on with you?"

"I work a '70s vibe," Paltrow said coyly. "You know what I mean?"

The Goop goddess was also asked about her daring look during an Apr. 25 appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. "There was no underwear on in that dress. Yeah, how does that. . .I don't know," the flustered mother of two said. "I just sort of put it on and it stayed in place, thank goodness."

Paltrow humiliated: Quick shave needed last minute for her costume

Paltrow humiliated: Gwyneth Paltrow was humiliated when she donned a gown that was designed to wear without underwear and as soon as she put it on, everyone scrambled for a razor. This was at the “Iron Man 3” Premiere, shared Paltrow, who couldn't believe she was sharing this incident on TV, according to Yahoo News on April 26, 2013.

Paltrow sat down with Ellen DeGeneres, who has a way of bringing out the most sacred of secrets the stars very rarely share. She told Ellen how the gown's shear fish-net sides didn't allow for underwear. She took the gown with her to change into before walking the red carpet into the premiere. As soon as she put it on it was obvious to all involved that she needed a quick shave.

Ellen quipped, the gown only had the sheer opening on the sides, but Paltrow quickly added that it is the way she walks that warranted the shave, “I walk a 70's vibe,” Paltrow said coyly, “You know what I mean?” She said she was humiliated by the bad press the dress got for her.

Ellen then asked her about another daring gown that she wore on the "Tonight Show" on April 25. That was another dress that you couldn't wear underwear with, but she said she got lucky because she put it on and it just stayed in place. Gwyneth's down to earth demeanor is just one more reminder as to why she deserved to win People's “Most Beautiful Woman in the World” for 2013.

Free pretzels today

Free pretzels today, Add a twist to your Friday with a free pretzel. Philly Pretzel Factory is celebrating National Pretzel Day by offering a free pretzel to each customer who enters the shop, no purchase necessary.

As an added bonus, the first 100 customers will receive a card that entitles them to a free pretzel every day during the month of May.

Dan DiZio, chief executive officer and co-founder of Philly Pretzel Factory, a 100-plus-unit chain born and raised in Philadelphia, told Patch this was a great opportunity to give loyal customers a treat.

Founded in 1983, National Pretzel Day was created when U.S. Representative Robert S. Walker, a Pennsylvania Republican, declared his favorite food was deserving of a holiday. In April of 2003, Pennsylvania’s Governor Ed Rendell joined the bandwagon by re-declaring the unofficial national holiday.

Rick Hendon, owner of the South Ave. East franchise, said what makes the pretzels so special is that they are made fresh every morning.

"We mix them up, twist them by hand, then they're placed in a cooler so that they don't rise more then we want them to and we bake them on demand," Hendon explained. "We don't start baking until 15 minutes before we open the store so everyone gets a really fresh product."

The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hendon, who has owned the shop since 2008, said not only are the pretzels a popular after-school treat, the store's party trays are a big hit as well.

Along with the traditional hot pretzels, the menu also features cinnamon-sugar pretzels, hot dogs wrapped in a pretzel-dough bun, and a cheesesteak pretzel, which Hendon explained consists of high-quality beef and mozzarella sealed in dough.

"They're great as an on-the-go snack," he said.

Condiments include four different mustards as well as dips such as cinnamon-sugar, chocolate, buttercream frosting and cheddar cheese.

The pretzel purveyor said he is happy to support local fundraisers by either making a donation or partnering with area parent-teacher-organizations.

Marty Ferrill, president of Philly Pretzel Factory, said the giveaway is a chance to reward the store's regular customers and also welcome new ones. Ferrill said the recipe is another thing that sets the pretzels apart.

"The main thing is tradition," Ferrill said. "Our product is more dense and doughy than what some people think of when they think of a hot pretzel. It's made from a real Pennsylvania Dutch German roots recipes. You taste the difference. I hope everyone will come out and enjoy a free pretzel."

Ferrill added that Philly Pretzel Factory has 42 stores open in New Jersey and noted that the brand is continuing to grow in the Garden State having just opened two new stores, one in Piscataway and one in Livingston.

"National Pretzel Day is a great way for us to say a big thank you to all of our loyal customers, Ferrill said. "This is our fifth year celebrating National Pretzel day by giving away a free pretzel at all of our locations."

View the attached video from National Pretzel Day 2012 to hear from Hendon about the excitement of the daylong event.

Paltrow humiliated by buzz over red carpet choice

Paltrow humiliated, has revealed she underwent embarrassing grooming before she took to the red carpet wearing the dress that's been branded quite possibly her worst fashion faux-pas to date.

Days after being named People Magazine's Most Beautiful Woman, Paltrow took to the red carpet of Iron Man 3 in "the most vulgar, look-at-me, attention-seeking dress" she has worn to date, according to critics.

The space-age-style Antonio Berardi gown featured white, navy and green panels.

And while the front on the dress was nothing to write home about, as soon as Paltrow shifted to the side, panels of sheer mesh reaching all the way up to her waist were revealed.

Paltrow told Ellen DeGeneres it took some embarrassing last-minute grooming before she was able to wear the gown.

The star, 40, admitted she was horrified to discover her 'ass was hanging out' and also revealed she also needed a razor.

"I was doing a show and I changed there and I went I couldn’t wear underwear. I don’t think I can tell this story on TV," she said.

"Well, let’s just say everyone went scrambling for a razor…So I went from being the most beautiful to the most humiliated. In one day… I work a 70s vibe. You know what I mean?"

But the critics were scathing about the dress.

"This has got to be the most vulgar, look-at-me, attention-seeking dress I have ever reviewed in over 30 years of writing about fashion" The Daily Mail's Liz Jones said of the number, which left many wondering what she was doing in the underwear department.

"Talk about an attention-grabber! The dress hardly left anything to the imagination" Andrew Gruttadaro from Hollywood Life said.

The Huffington Post were a little more reserved in their judgement, concluding that "this look might just be too stressful for us."

And while it's obvious that Paltrow's body defies her 40 years, does a clearly attractive woman really need to bare so much flesh?

"It is very see-through" Paltrow acknowledged to E! News "But I just thought it was really beautiful. It sort of has a superhero thing happening."

What do you think? Tell us below

Paltrow's red carpet choice tops off what has been an interesting week for the actress.

First she came under fire for sexualising children after endorsing a range of bikinis for girls as young as four on her website.

Then, she was named People magazine's Most Beautiful Woman - a title which was met with some confusion from fashion commentators and even Gywnny herself.

At the Iron Man 3 premiere, Paltrow told the Associated Press that "it's like obviously not true.

"Because I mean you can't say that, you know! But it's been wonderful. It's been very wonderful. And as my friend said, it's so nice that someone who has kids and is a mum and is not like 21 is named that. It's really an honour."

She told Ellen she was told about the honour in an email from her publicist.

"Honestly, I was like this is a joke? I reread it three times. I was like oh, he sent this to the wrong client. Like there’s no way,' Gwyneth said.

"My name wasn’t on it... I was like oh this is not for me and it was actually psychologically interesting because for a minute I really thought that someone was playing a joke on me."

She admitted: "I talked about it with my shrink.

Disney open 24 hours

Disney open 24 hours, one of the most popular Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will kick off a Monstrous Summer by keeping three theme parks open for 24 hours nonstop on Memorial Day Weekend, the traditional start of the family travel season.

The Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in California will stay open from 6 a.m., May 24 to 6 a.m., May 25, 2013, local time* marking the beginning of a summer of fun inspired by the upcoming Disney•Pixar comedy adventure Monsters University.

The oversized fun of a 24-hour Disney park "All-Nighter" called for an equally epic announcement, and the huge sphere of Spaceship Earth was transformed from Disney Parks icon to Disney•Pixar "Eye-con," becoming a 180-foot-tall, fully animated Mike Wazowski, the loveable green-bodied, one-eyed monster who joins best pal James P. Sullivan ("Sulley") in the prequel to Monsters, Inc., this summer as college students with hopes of becoming Scarers.

Walt Disney World President George Kalogridis joined Mike to share the news of the first-ever, three-park All-Nighter.

Guests will scream and giggle with delight at the lineup of thrills and entertainment that promises to make this a day and night to be remembered for a lifetime.

In Florida, the Magic Kingdom will feature a Monsters University theme where Mike and Sulley will be the Grand Marshals of the "Celebrate a Dream Come True" day parade – complete with pomp and circumstance – and make appearances in Tomorrowland. Guests also will find extra entertainment throughout the day and night, including characters in their pajamas in Town Square during the late night and early morning, and late-night dance parties in and around the courtyard of Cinderella Castle .

The new Fantasy Faire Royal Theatre at Disneyland will become a Royal Dance Hall late at night with a live band and dancing, and guests of Disney California Adventure will find Monstrous photo opportunities with new Monsters University "Dorms" in Hollywood Land and a new Monsters University float leading the Pixar Play Parade.

All three parks will feature limited-edition specialty merchandise and food and beverage offerings plus other surprises throughout the entire day.

Walt Disney World Monstrous Summer includes new offerings and popular favorites in all four parks. This is the first summer for New Fantasyland, which has received rave reviews from guests since its December grand opening as the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history. Guests also will find new, engaging offerings for the entire family throughout the Walt Disney World Resort this summer such as an interactive "Pirates Adventure" game at Magic Kingdom, the newly re-imagined Test Track at Epcot, the new Disney Junior show, featuring Sofia The First and Doc McStuffins, as new additions at Disney's Hollywood Studios, plus Wilderness Explorers at Disney's Animal Kingdom that will bring families together in exciting new ways.

ABOUT "MONSTERS UNIVERSITY"

Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal ) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike's plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan , "Sulley" (voice of John Goodman ), a natural-born Scarer. The pair's out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University's elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right. Screaming with laughter and oozing with heart, Disney•Pixar's "Monsters University" is directed by Dan Scanlon ("Cars," "Mater and the Ghostlight," "Tracy"), produced by Kori Rae ("Up," "The Incredibles," "Monsters, Inc.") and features music from future Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and award-winning composer Randy Newman ("Monsters, Inc.," "Toy Story 3"). Facebook friend $174.17

Facebook friend $174.17, next time if you “like” something on Facebook, you might imagine a little cash register ringing…ca-ching. That’s because new research suggests that every time you “like” or “friend” a brand or business, your actions are worth approximately $174.17 to that brand — a 28 percent increase since 2010.

The research, conducted by social intelligence company Syncapse, studied more than 2,000 Facebook users who had liked a brand, taking into account such factors as product spending, loyalty, propensity to recommend, media value acquisition cost and brand affinity to determine the value of a Facebook fan.

Facebook fans spend more money not only on the brands they fan ($116 more per year than nonfans), but also within the brand's sector — 43 percent more, despite not having a higher income than nonfans, the study found.

Those fans are also 18 percent more satisfied with their brands than nonfriends, and 11 percent more likely to continue using the brand than nonfriends.

Following the old maxim that 20 percent of customers represent 80 percent of revenues (also known as the Pareto principle), the study suggests that the better you can isolate key customer segments, the more relevant your messaging can be to drive loyalty and grow revenues through targeted offers.

Brand managers should aim to interact with customers on Facebook to understand what they're passionate about, solicit their input and enable a feeling of ownership, the study advises.

There are two reasons brand managers should curry this crowd. Facebook users who like your brand are much more active in social media and are vocal about what they like and what they don't. They like to share good brand experiences, promotions and discounts, but are also likely to share a bad brand experience.

Your brand's Facebook users are your evangelists. The study recommends prioritizing your social media marketing investment to make sure they're happy: Ensure they feel appreciated and nurtured, and find ways to talk about your brand and share their opinion.

"The increase in average fan value is driven by fans' tendencies to be superconsumers," the report said. "Not only do they tend to be brand users first, they spend more, engage more, advocate more and are more loyal. The significant and increasing value of a Facebook brand fan affirms past social marketing investment and mandates deeper commitment and accountability in the future."

Bynes shaves half head

Bynes shaves half head, an American actress Amanda Bynes's state of mind in recent months has been expressed through her hair. When her extensions were "matted and messy," it was a sign that she "has had a rough time of late." When she dyed her hair red, then tweeted and deleted, "I've never been a redhead! Somebody keeps posing as me," it was a sign either of paparazzi-evading desperation or a break from reality. Two weeks ago, a claim that damaged hair had driven her to shave her head (and replace her hair with extensions) drew comparisons to Britney Spears. Last night on Twitter, Bynes finally revealed her "buzzed" scalp. And it wasn't as bad as we'd feared!

Her shaved head is a hairdo, not a sign of insanity.

"No more old photos!" refers to Bynes's quixotic mission to convince the press to use selfies from her Twitter feed instead of recent paparazzi shots or older red-carpet ones when they write about her. But the good news is, she recently demonstrated an understanding that tabloid magazines prefer professionally shot photographs over cell-phone selfies.

"I don't talk to light fixtures," Bynes clarified three days ago in a tweet that began, "Dear @UsWeekly - I don't know why u feel the need to make up stories about me." And though she may not talk to light fixtures and her shaved head mimicked Cassie's style, not Britney's meltdown, the fact that Bynes needs to deny talking to light fixtures in the first place is, perhaps, the most damning sign of all.

Too sexy for Saudi: UAE men ordered to leave Saudi Arabia

Too sexy for Saudi, He gazes directly into the camera: all dreamy brown eyes, smouldering good looks and chiselled features.

A camel dominates the background.

It's certainly a striking image, but is Omar Borkan Al Gala, poet, actor, and internet sensation, the man who was too sexy for Saudi Arabia?

Earlier this week three men were forcibly removed from a culture festival in Saudi Arabia after religious police deemed the men "too handsome."

According to Arabic language newspaper Elaph a festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and there were concerns that female visitors could fall for them.

Until now the identities of the three illegally handsome men has been unknown, but web speculation now suggests that one of them at least could be Omar Borkan Al Gala.

Though far from being confirmation a post on Facebook has prompted widespread speculation.

On his page Al Gala posted a link to an article about the deportation with the comment: "This is what written in newspapers in over the world :)"

Elsewhere, in a typical post the handsome poet writes: "The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides."

If Al Gala is not the handsome man mentioned he has done nothing to dampen the rumours that he is - instead choosing to continue to post his smouldering photographs.

Too sexy for Saudi? Saudi man deported for being attractive

Too sexy for Saudi? Was Omar Borkan Al Gala too sexy for Saudi? It sounds hard to believe, but that’s exactly the news that’s being reported on Friday, April 26.

According to multiple reports, Omar Borkan Al Gala was feared to be too physically attractive to women, which resulted in Saudi officials deporting him (and two other men).

The reason for the deportation was more about the women of the region than the men who got the pink slip. Saudi officials are said to fear that the women would get too excited in their presence, thus drumming up feelings and emotions in the women that officials clearly try to suppress.

According to the Telegraph and The Sun, Omar appears on his Facebook page wearing eyeliner. The website even calls his photographs “sultry.”

Instead he has continued to post his sultry pictures, sometimes wearing a Lakers jersey and at others posing with a sports car or with a rifle.

"The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides," he posted in on Facebook.

Apparently, women around the globe agree with Saudi officials. Omar’s Facebook page is now littered with comments praising his eyes and overall physical appearance.

NJ train explosives: Mykyta Panasenko arrested for having explosive material

A man from the NJ city was arrested for having explosive material in train. A city man accused of carrying improvised explosives was charged with having explosives material at his home and on a train just days before the Boston Marathon bombings, but authorities said there was no indication he planned to detonate the devices, the Jersey Journal reported on Thursday.

The article on the paper's website also said the man, Mykyta Panasenko, 27, was charged in New Jersey state court and released.

Jersey City police spokesman Stan Eason confirmed that Panasenko was charged but gave no further details.

Panasenko was charged with having at his home on April 5 two improvised explosive devices made from a cylinder containing the propellant powder Pyrodex, the newspaper reported.

He was also charged with recklessly creating widespread risk of injury or damage to a building by constructing the devices, and with having the explosives material on April 7 aboard a NJ Transit Train leaving Hoboken, New Jersey, and bound for Suffern, New York, the paper said.

A statement from unnamed law enforcement authorities said "there is no indication at this point of the investigation that he intended to detonate a device in his building or on the transit system," according to the paper.

"Police recovered components of an explosive device at his home, not a completed device," the statement said, according to the Jersey Journal. "However, the investigation revealed that he did transport completed devices from his home at some point." Reported at Retuers.

The Boston Marathon bombings that killed thee people and wounded more than 264 others occurred on April 15, the same day authorities filed an initial charge against Panasenko, according to the paper, which did not cite any other connection between the two cases.

FBI Special Agent Barbara Woodruff referred inquiries regarding Panasenko to the Hudson County Prosecutor's office, which is handling the case. The U.S. Attorney's office in Newark declined to comment and Panasenko could not be reached for comment.

38 Die in Mental Hospital Fire Outside MOSCOW

38 die in mental hospital after fire swept quickly through a psychiatric hospital outside Moscow early Friday, killing 38 people, some of them sedated and in their beds, officials said.

The one-story brick-and-wood hospital building housed patients with severe mental disorders, Health Ministry officials said. An Emergencies Ministry official said the fire started in a wooden annex and then spread to the main brick building, which had wooden beams.

Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova said that half of the patients took sedatives at night. She insisted that the patients were not tied to their beds and were not given any medication that would leave them unconscious and unable to escape.

At least 29 people were burned alive, said Irina Gumennaya, a spokeswoman for the federal Investigative Committee.

Investigators said the 38 dead included 36 patients and two doctors. They said a nurse managed to escape and save one patient, while another patient got out on his own. The Emergencies Ministry also posted a list of the patients indicating they ranged in age from 20 to 76. Gumennaya told Russian news agencies that most of the people died in their beds.

Moscow region Governor Andrei Vorobyev said some of the hospital windows were barred. Gumennaya cited the surviving nurse as saying that the doors inside the hospital were not locked.

Investigators said they are looking at violations of fire regulations and a short circuit as possible causes for the blaze that engulfed the hospital in the Ramensky settlement, some 85 kilometers (53 miles) north of Moscow.

Vadim Belovoshin of the Emergencies Ministry said that it took firefighters an hour to get to the hospital because a ferry across a canal was closed and they had to make a detour.

Vorobyev told Russian state television that the fire alarm seems to have worked, but the fire spread too quickly.

Skvotsova told the state television said that the hospital had all the necessary fire equipment, but conceded mental hospitals should be better equiped for emergencies than the current law requires.

President Vladimir Putin called for a thorough investigation into the deadly fire and asked regional authorities to pay more attention to safety regulations.

Russia has a poor fire safety record, with about 12,000 deaths reported in 2012. In January abc news reported, a fire in an underground parking lot killed 10 migrant workers from Tajikistan who were working and living there. In a similar incident in September, 14 Vietnamese workers were killed by fire at a clothing factory near Moscow.

In one of the most high-profile cases of negligence, more than 150 people died in a night club in the city of Perm after a pyrotechnic show ignited a wooden ceiling.

So real you expect them to fly away: Artist creates incredible birds made

These cute little birds are made just using paper, watercolour paint and hours of hard work by talented Dutch artist Johan Scherft.

The realistic-looking furry creatures are the result of painstaking painting and gluing, with Johan assembling the different parts with two pairs of narrow tweezers.

Each bird is a mini-masterpiece hand painted with very fine brushes, then modelled in 3D.

Vivid: The Bullfinch in full red and blue glory on his paper branch

Johan started his interest in creating pint-sized works of art at the age of 14, when he started making paper bird models, which he coloured using pencils.

Johan's work caught the eye of the admissions board at The Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, Netherlands where he studied graphic design, free painting and drawing.

Johan hopes that his designs will be encourage people to be interested in wildlife and be realistic enough to put people off taxidermy.

'People can now enjoy this beauty in their homes without owning a dead stuffed one,' he says.

That's one way to pay off the deficit! Fast cars and dancing girls party

Her Majesty’s Treasury is usually full of bookish types crunching numbers to balance the nation’s books.

But the heart of the George Osborne’s finance ministry has been hired out as a location for a Hollywood blockbuster, featuring fast cars and dancing girls.

The circular court of the Treasury building is transformed into an underground nightclub in the latest movie in the Fast and Furious series starring Vin Diesel.

The scenes are a long way from the quiet number-crunching normally associated with the inner workings of the government's finance ministries

In the trailer for the film, released on May 17, Vin Diesel is seen driving into the circular court of the Treasury building

Fast Six sees the smash hit franchise return to cinemas next month, with Diesel’s professional criminal Dominic Toretto helping to bring down a new criminal gang in return for full pardons for the crimes of his own crew.

As Toretto travels the world in an attempt to round up his crew, he arrives in London where he pulls up at the entrance to a huge open air party.

The grand circular court is usually used as a car park by civil servants working at the Treasury and HM Revenue and Customs.

Mr Osborne, pictured today, has been boosted by news that the economy has grew by 0.3 per cent in the first three months of this year

The site, known as Government Offices Great George Street (GOGGS) has been home to the Treasury since 1940.

Mr Osborne was boosted by news today that the economy has grown by 0.3 per cent, better than many analysts expected.

Industry insiders suggested big Hollywood films would pay between £2,000 and £5,000-a-day to hire commercial buildings.

Filming took place over a weekend with extra security thought to have been laid on to keep the nation's financial secrets safe.

The appeal of the Fast and Furious series has relied heavily on featuring young women and the latest cars

Some of the scenes are likely to raise eyebrows in Westminster

The poster for Fast and Furious 6, which is released in UK cinemas on May 17, also features views of the London skyline

It marks a radical move for the government, but with borrowing remaining stubbornly high every penny that can be raised helps.

Total public sector net debt was a record £1.2trillion in March, equating to 75.4 per cent of GDP and up from £1.1 trillion a year earlier.

The decision to hire out the building was made by its owners, a contractor who runs the ministry under a Private Finance Initiative contract.

In the trailer for the new film Toretto is seen being asked by Diplomatic Security Service agent Luke Hobbs, played by Dwayne Johnson, for help to catch a mercenary group which attacked a military convoy.

He asks them to bring his elite team together in London, which is where the Treasury scene appears.

Groups of young women in short skirts are seen dancing on cars in the government building’s circular court.

The latest Bond film, Skyfall, used the roof of the Department for Energy and Climate Change to capture these scenes of the London skyline

A Treasury source confirmed the site was used by Universal Pictures for the film, but could not say how much the firm paid.

The decision to allow a Hollywood blockbuster to use government buildings assets could open up a new lucrative income stream for cash-strapped ministers.

Previously James Bond has been the main beneficiary of using Whitehall as the backdrop for the big screen.

In Skyfall Daniel Craig filmed scenes on the room of the Department for Energy and Climate Change to capture spectacular views of the capital’s skyline.

The Scotland Office also received £1,500 income from the makers of the film Skyfall, but it is not clear that it was eventually used.

Fast and Furious 6 opens in the UK on May 17.

'What have we done? We just saved him.' How the medical team who treated

The medical staff who saved the life of Boston terror suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev feel deep anxiety about what they have done.

That is the honest assessment of Dr. Richard Wolfe, who along with other emergency medicine staff at Boston's Beth Israel Hospital rescued the seriously wounded teenage terror suspect on Friday.

Dr. Wolfe recounted how in the aftermath of the young man's stabilization, the nurses were hit by a serious dilemma - 'They look on the perpetrator as someone absolutely horrible and ask themselves, 'What have we done? We just saved him.'

Scroll Down for Video

Dr. Richard Wolfe explained how doctors and nurses at Boston's Beth Israel hospital battled to save Dzhokhar Tsarnaev - the teenage suspect in the city's marathon bombings

'Some nurses started rethinking,' said New York City native Wolfe. 'They think of the mom who just lost her son, or a child with an amputation.'

Talking to the New York Daily News, Wolfe added that despite these natural, but startling thoughts, every medical professional at the hospital is bound by oath to treat everyone the same - no matter what they may have done.

'You remember what we are here for, what oath we took,' said Dr. Wolfe on Wednesday.

Dzokhar Tsarnaev arrived on Friday evening at the same hospital where 21-hours earlier his brother, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, died after a gun battle with police in Watertown, Massachusetts.

Seriously Injured: Dzokhar Tsarnaev is transported with multiple gunshot wounds to Beth Israel hospital in Boston where he was successfully treated

An ambulance carrying Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the 19-year-old Massachusetts college student wanted in the Boston Marathon bombings, turns into Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on Friday

Dr. Wolfe was working during that admission and said that doctors and nurses treated both brothers to the best of their ability.

This was despite the team having treated 24 victims of the April 15th twin bombings of the Boston marathon that killed three people and wounded more than 250 others.

In fact, as Dzhokhar was being treated, several of the injured still remained in the hospital, including the mother of Martin Richard, the eight-year-old boy who died at the scene of the second blast - believed to have been caused by Dzhokhar himself.

As doctors battled to save the 19-year-old, who suffered wounds to his neck, head, hands and legs, the team was watched by an especially large law enforcement contingent.

Dr. Wolfe revealed that there were up to 40 people inside the resuscitation room as the teen was brought in to Beth Israel.

As nine doctors and nurses worked on Dzhokhar, two officers watched and six police stood guard outside the room.

'They know how to function in a way that is remarkably unobtrusive,' said Wolfe to the New York Daily News.

Survived: Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who police have taken into April 19, 2013, according to the Boston Police Department

Almost one day previously, a team from the hospital had failed to save Tamerlan Tsarnaev when he arrived already in cardiac arrest.

Admitting to feeling angry at both suspects, Dr. Wolfe said his rage was piqued when he thought of Martin Richard and his family.

Other staff had to battle through the disturbing sights they saw in the immediate and confused aftermath of the bombings as horrifically injured men and women were rushed in for treatment.

Dr. Paul Summergrad, who is chief of psychiatry at Tufts Medical Center said that some staff were still troubled by the terrible wounds they saw.

Some staff are being offered counseling in case they are suffering from post-traumatic-stress from the day.

However, at the end of the day, Dr. Wolfe said that an admission suffering from multiple bullets wounds is not unusual.

'From a medical point of view, they were more like business as usual,' Wolfe said. 'Single cases, gunshot wounds — we have so many in an urban ER, you lose count.'

And therefore the prognosis for Dzokhar Dr. Wolfe says is positive.

'He is young, healthy,' said Wolfe. 'We fully expect he will improve enough to be discharged from the hospital.'

And this comes as one emergency doctor, Leana Wen revealed she still has nightmares from that day that leave her sleep-deprived.

'I am glad I was able to help,' said Wen. 'I wish I could have helped more. But I wish I hadn't seen it.'

Traumatic experience: Dr Leana Wen, 30, is a fourth-year resident at Massachusetts General Hospital, which was flooded last Monday with dozens of horrifically injured bombing victims

Unprecedented horror: Wen has spent the past four years working as an ER doctor, but says that nothing had prepared her for the gristly shrapnel injuries

The physician, a former Rhodes Scholar, fellow at Harvard Medical School and patient advocate who recently co-wrote a book about how doctors could avoid making diagnosis mistakes, is no stranger to gruesome injuries.

Working in the ER for the past four years, Wen had witnessed shootings, grisly accidents and the occasional amputation, but she says that nothing had prepared her for last Monday.

Dr Wen was nearing the end of her shift when a call came in about two incoming patients who were injured in an explosion. Minutes later, another call came over the PA system saying that there had been two blasts.

'There was blood everywhere,' Wen recalled the harrowing scene to USA Today. 'On the floor, there were trails of it behind the stretchers.'

Sleepless city: Dr. Leana Wen is not alone in her reaction to the bombings, with many Boston residents reportedly suffering from nightmares and sleep deprivation

Although Wen had been working since 7am without a break, she told USA Today that she did not feel tired because she was running on adrenaline.

The ER staff at Massachusetts General Hospital ended up treating 31 of the victims inured that day, at least four of whom required amputations.

All the while, the 30-year-old medic kept triaging and treating a stream of bleeding, wounded men and women suffering from horrific shrapnel wounds the like she had never seen before.
'It was very difficult to see so many people's lives changed in one day,' she told the paper. 'Seeing all those young people who were my age, who would have very different lives moving forward, if they had lives at all.'

NJ train explosive, a city man accused of carrying improvised explosives was charged with having explosives material at his home and on a train just days before the Boston Marathon bombings, but authorities said there was no indication he planned to detonate the devices, the Jersey Journal reported on Thursday.

The cop from the past: Seattle police officer uses fully-restored 1970 Plymouth Satellite as his cruiser

The Seattle Police Department has an old school tool it uses in community outreach efforts - a fully restored 1970 Plymouth Satellite police cruiser.

The car is part of the Seattle Metropolitan Police Museum, a non-profit that Officer Jim Ritter founded In 1997. Along with local car shops, Ritter and volunteers have restored 14 vintage police vehicles. Under an agreement with the Seattle Police Department, Ritter uses the Plymouth as his everyday cruiser.

The initial idea behind the Plymouth was to use it as a community relations and educational tool and drive it in parades. But Ritter began to notice that people were attracted to the car, making outreach that much easier.
