Octomom fraud

Octomom fraud. Octomom is being under investigation for welfare fraud, apparently someone turned her in, which started this investigation. According to TMZ on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, if this is true, Octomom could go to jail.

Someone lodged a complaint with the L.A. County Department of Welfare Fraud Prevention that Octomom, Nadya Suleman, made close to $200,000 last year, but still collected welfare, as well as food stamps. Is this woman really that oblivious to the laws to do such a thing? She talked about being on welfare to the media, so if she was making money at the same time she cooked her own goose.

If Octomom, who has 14 kids, makes $119,000 a year or less, she's legally entitled to welfare, but it sounds like she exceeded the limit by almost double. She scored all that money from her porn movie, where she self-pleasured herself on video. She also took a couple of stripping gigs.

If Octomom did collect welfare when she was not entitled to it due to her income level, she could face up to three years in jail. Law enforcement officials are already talking to Octomom's associates trying to get to the bottom of this.

Clarke, 25, has recently made headlines with her rendition of Holly Golightly in a Broadway adaptation of Truman Capote's "Breakfast at Tiffany's."

In the play, Clarke goes nude for a sultry bathtub scene. Her performance has proven so popular with picture-snapping audience members that the production has threatened to evict any picture takers.

Clarke is best known for her role as blond bombshell Daenerys Targaryen in "Game of Thrones." Filming appointments overseas have put a wedge between her and MacFarlane, the website notes.

"They are no longer dating," a source said. "It was really a location challenge. She has been in Europe shooting 'Game of Thrones' and he is based in California, so it was hard to make it work despite the distance. They have remained friends."

MacFarlane and Clarke were first romantically linked after getting flirty at the HBO Emmy party in September.

Before his stint hosting the Academy Awards, MacFarlane went on record to Entertainment Weekly praising his then girlfriend.

"She is an incredibly kind, supremely talented person, and one of the hardest-working people I have ever met."

Dennis Rodman secret, Kim Jong Has A Daughter

Dennis Rodman secret, Kim Jong Un Has A Daughter? It was may be time to add Kim Jong Un's name to the list of folks who aren't eager to trust Dennis Rodman.

In a Tuesday interview with The Sun, the retired American basketball star claimed Kim has a daughter. If the statement is true, Rodman may have outed a major state secret.

“[Ri Sol Ju] kept talking about their beautiful baby daughter,” Rodman told The Sun of Kim's wife.

There has been previous speculation that the couple had a baby girl, but Pyongyang has yet to officially acknowledge any potential heirs to Kim Jong Un's regime. Indeed, North Korea Leadership Watch editor Michael Madden told the Washington Free Beacon that the North Korean government "would have made an announcement” if the child was a boy.

Rodman added, per The Sun, that Ri Sol Ju seemed "very elegant and quite tall for a Korean — maybe 5ft 5in."

A recent United Nations report found that more than a quarter of North Korean children suffer stunted growth as a result of chronic malnutrition. Studies have found that young North Korean women tend to stand around 5 feet 2 inches tall, and can be as much as three inches shorter than South Korean women.

Rodman visited the reclusive North Korean leader at the end of February. At the conclusion of the trip, the basketball star spoke glowingly of Kim to members of the media. "I love him," Rodman said. "The guy's really awesome."

Whatever Rodman's perspectives may be, however, he doesn't seem to have won much North Korean support for the United States. The regime recently posted on YouTube several crudely made propaganda videos, featuring dramatized depictions of military attacks on the U.S.

Earlier in March, as U.N. diplomats voted to approve new sanctions on North Korea, Army Gen. Kang Pyo Yong addressed a crowd of North Koreans gathered to protest the sanctions and recent war drills by U.S. and South Korea. "Intercontinental ballistic missiles and various other missiles, which have already set their striking targets, are now armed with lighter, smaller and diversified nuclear warheads and are placed on a standby status," Kang said, according to the Associated Press. "When we shell (the missiles), Washington, which is the stronghold of evils, .... will be engulfed in a sea of fire."

Dennis Rodman secret

Dennis Rodman secret, Rodman of "The Celebrity Apprentice" is not so good at keeping secrets of people. On March 20, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Dennis was on "The Tonight Show" talking about his recent visit.

Kim Jong Un and Dennis Rodman had a big talk when he was in North Korea for a trip. He says that he was shocked that he was very nice and it sounds like they got along well. That is all just fine until Dennis let something else slip out.

According to Global Post, Rodman let out a big secret when he said that Kim Jong Un has a daughter. This child has been kept a secret and nobody knew about it at all until Rodman opened up his big mouth.

Rodman said that his wife Ri Sol Ju kept talking about their beautiful little girl. Everyone has thought they had a child, but the news was never released at all. Are you shocked to hear this news? Will Rodman be in any trouble for letting it out?

The 8 a.m. emergency call prompted a lockdown at the middle school, high school and Central Education Campus buildings in New Prague, 45 miles southwest of Minneapolis. The male caller said he was inside one of the school buildings, Scott County Sheriff Kevin Studnicka said.

Students are ushered back to New Prague Middle School in New Prague, Minn., March 20, after the all clear was issued following a scare concerning an 'active shooter.'
"He claimed he needed help because there was a shooter in the building with an AK-47 and that there were a couple of victims," Studnicka said. When dispatchers asked for the caller's cellphone number, he claimed it was a new phone and he didn't know the number, the sheriff said.

Police Chief Mark Vosejpka said police and deputies quickly determined no one was hurt and zeroed in on the12-year-old boy. Vosejpka didn't explain what led them to suspect the boy.

Parents rushing to the scene were directed to a nearby church. Students were dismissed from the schools by late morning. Classes were canceled for the rest of the day but were expected to resume Thursday.

The middle and high schools have a combined enrollment of 2,067.

It was the second such disruption in the district this year. Two months ago, a student phoned in a bomb threat, Superintendent Larry Kauzlarich said. That student was expelled.

Helen Kutsher dies

Helen Kutsher dies, the women who has doted on generations of people and guests at one of the most famous “Borscht Belt” hotels, has died at 89.

Family members said Kutsher died Tuesday in a hospital in Philadelphia, where she had lived for several years.

Kutsher’s was founded in 1907 in the Catskills and became a big name in the days when the region attracted largely Jewish families who drove a few hours north from New York City to escape the summer heat.

In the region’s heyday, Kutsher’s was known for serving up big portions of prime rib and blintzes and for attracting entertainers like Tony Bennett and Milton Berle. Wilt Chamberlain worked there as a bellhop. It was the sort of big, bustling resort portrayed in the 1987 movie “Dirty Dancing.”

Helen Kutsher was the face of the resort, gregariously greeting guests with a smile when they walked in and making sure their needs were met.

“She was more than the greeter, she was the heart of the hotel,” said her daughter Mady Prowler. “She always sent people birthday cards and had little gifts for the grandchildren. She made sure people felt that they were pretty special.”

Born Helen Wasser on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, she first came to the Kutsher’s at age 10 after her mother’s death. She later introduced her widowed father to his future second wife, Rebecca Kutsher, a member of the family that ran the hotel. Her children say Helen Kutsher essentially grew up at Kutsher’s.

In 1946, Helen Kutsher married Rebecca Kutsher’s nephew Milton Kutsher and they had three children. Milton Kutsher died in 1998. She continued to work at the hotel into her 80s.

Her funeral is Thursday in Monticello.

The Kutsher family still owns the hotel, but it is operated by others.

12-year-old arrested

12-year-old arrested, The 12-year-old thrilled Minnesota after a prank phone call to 911, according to a March 20 SF Gate report. The call led to a Minnesota school district lock down, which is incredibly scary for students, teachers and administrators, and parents.

Ultimately, police realized that the 911 call was a prank, and a 12-year-old was arrested in the incident. Police believe the boy called around 8 a.m. The emergency call led to middle school, high school and Central Education Campus buildings in New Prague going on lockdown.

Scott County Sheriff Kevin Studnicka said,

"He claimed he needed help because there was a shooter in the building with an AK-47 and that there were a couple of victims."

Parents raced to the scene to get their children, and classes were canceled for the day. It must have been incredibly terrifying for everybody involved.

At least 2,067 students were let out of school for the day. They are expected to go back to school tomorrow. Amazingly, this is the second time the school district has received a threat in the past two months. It is strange that students have called in threats two times recently.

Police did not say why they suspected the 12-year-old boy, but they were able to determine that there was no real threat, and they arrested the boy. It seems like he may face the last student's fate who called in a fake threat -- suspension. Hopefully this will show other students that it is not okay to make fake threat calls.

Sinkhole swallows pond, How Do Sinkholes occurred

Sinkhole swallows pond, Residents were very concerned after a sinkhole swallowed up a pond on Sunday stunning local residents in Newcastle, California.

Local landowner, Mark Korb, has said he woke up on Sunday morning only to find the man-made pond on his land had completely disappeared, apparently it had drained away due to a massive sinkhole beneath the land.

The sinkhole managed to drain the entire pond just overnight, with Korb saying, "I would guess probably four to five hours for this whole area to drain."

The report comes just weeks after two massive sinkholes in Florida stunned the nation, with one of them swallowing up a man as he lay in his bedroom.

So what are sinkholes and how do they occur?

Sinkholes are basically depressions in the ground that form over time due to the combined forces of erosion and gravity. They have been known to reveal themselves gradually over time, although sometimes, like the cases in Florida, they can cause sudden collapses.

Scientists say that sinkholes are usually caused by the water that flows below the topsoil. The water turns acidic from absorbing carbon dioxide and participating in botanical processes; when it eventually flows down into the bedrock, it begins to erode the structural integrity of the stone formations below.

Sinkholes are also well know to be found in areas where the bedrock is made of a soft mineral, such as limestone or gypsum.

Generally speaking there are three main types of naturally caused sinkholes:

A Cover-collapse sinkhole

This type of sinkhole occurs where the overburden is made of soft material, like clay. As caverns form in the bedrock below, pieces of the overburden tumble into the empty space, making the topsoil level weaker and weaker, until it eventually caves in.

A Cover-subsidence sinkhole
This type of sinkhole is usually characterized by small dimensions, the abundant presence of water and a gradual collapse.

A Dissolution (or solution) sinkhole
These don't exactly sink, but rather the overburden washes away, exposing the bedrock to erosion.

Here is a video of a 3D animation showing how sinkholes form:
Sinkhole Formation 3D Animation

One sinkhole in Florida recently gained international media coverage, after a man was sucked down into a hole that suddenly opened up under his bedroom.

The man's family members reported that they were all preparing for bed when they heard a loud crashing sound and then the man screaming as he was sucked down into the hole.

That sinkhole measured about 30 feet wide and 60 feet deep, and since it opened up it has become filled with clay and debris.

Officials have stated that despite a thorough search it is highly unlikely that the man's body will ever be recovered from the hole.

The home was bulldozed to the ground, and officials will now move to stabilize the sinkhole so it does not cause any further issues to the other residents in the area.

Already two other houses nearby the sinkhole home have been evacuated through fears that they too could collapse, as the foundations below the structures have been significantly weakened.

Grandma convicted

Grandma convicted, The 75-year-old woman and a grandma was on  Tuesday convicted of second-degree murder for killing her teenage grandson last spring in her Detroit-area home, after jurors rejected her claim that she shot him six times in self-defense.

Sandra Layne cried quietly when she heard the verdict, which was delivered during the first full day of jury deliberations. She was also found guilty of using a firearm during a felony and likely faces at least 14 years in prison for the death of her grandson, Jonathan Hoffman.

Defense attorney Jerome Sabbota said later that Layne was "devastated" by the verdict.

But some family members had harsh words. Hoffman's mother, Jennifer Hoffman, said her mother was a "monster" who deserved to go to prison.

"I'm glad she's put away and can't do harm to anyone else," Jennifer Hoffman said outside court. "He was a great kid and didn't deserve this."

His father, Michael Hoffman, said the verdict was a "final vindication for my son."

As Layne was handcuffed and being led out of court, some family members sitting with her 87-year-old husband, Fred, waved in a show of support. But she couldn't make eye contact because there was a deputy in between blocking the view.

Layne fired 10 shots at her 17-year-old grandson, striking him six times over a six-minute span during an argument last May in her home in West Bloomfield Township. She never disputed that she killed him, but she testified that she did so because he had hit her and she feared for her safety.

The evidence included a recording of Jonathan Hoffman's desperate call to 911 in which he pleads for help, even as more shots are fired.

"My grandma shot me. I'm going to die. Help. I got shot again," he told the dispatcher as he gasped for air.

Jurors declined to comment following the verdict, but they told attorneys during a private meeting that the 911 call was crucial to their decision. It revealed that Layne had left Hoffman bleeding but then returned with more gunfire.

"They said they played it over and over and over again" in the jury room, prosecutor Paul Walton said. "One of the big things they said is when you hear the shots on the (call) there's no struggle."

Sabbota said jurors found the "911 call was critical."

The Oakland County jury had a choice of first-degree murder or lesser charges, or it could have acquitted Layne based on her argument of self-defense.

In his closing argument, Walton told jurors that Layne never rushed out of the West Bloomfield Township home, despite claiming to be afraid of her grandson, and never called for an ambulance to help him after the shooting. She said she shot him after Hoffman struck her during a heated argument about money and a plan to flee Michigan because of a failed drug test.

"I wanted him to pay attention to me. He had to listen. It wasn't a conversation. It was arguing. Swearing," Layne said in tearful testimony last week, explaining why she pulled out a gun.

Walton called Layne's story "fanciful." He pointed out that she never complained to police about being attacked. A hospital nurse who examined her after her arrest said Layne had no injuries and spoke lovingly about Hoffman.

Sabbota asked jurors to view the incident through the eyes of a woman in her 70s. He said Layne was taking care of a teen who had used drugs and brought strangers to the home. Hoffman's parents were living in Arizona during his senior year of high school, and they had their hands full with a daughter being treated for a brain tumor.

After the verdicts were read, Sabbota said Layne has long been punishing herself and referred to her continued grief and regret.

"I've been saying it all along: We can't do anything that she hasn't already done to herself," Sabbota said. "She punishes herself every day. The legal system does what the legal system does. The jury felt that it wasn't appropriate self-defense. "

Next Bond movie

Next Bond movie, MGM Studios is planning to send James Bond on his next mission sooner than later, announcing Wednesday that it hopes to have the next installment of the popular spy series in theaters within the next three years.

MGM Chairman and Chief Executive Gary Barber, in a conference call with investors, said the studio is developing the screenplay for the next Bond film, the 24th entry in the 50-year-old franchise.

“We look forward to announcing a director soon,” Barber said. “We are really thrilled with where we have taken this franchise.”

Sam Mendes, director of the most recent Bond film, 2012's "Skyfall," announced earlier this month that he passed on an offer from series producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli to return as director.

Star Daniel Craig is signed for two more films as the British secret agent.

Getting the wheels turning on the next movie is understandable given the commercial and critical success of "Skyfall." The film grossed $1.1 billion worldwide and earned outstanding reviews as well as Oscar wins for sound editing and Adele's original title song.

Through the series' long history, a two-year gap between movies has been the norm. "Skyfall" arrived four years after the previous Bond film, "Quantum of Solace," with MGM's financial problems contributing to the lengthy delay.

Privately-held MGM jointly produced "Skyfall" with Columbia Pictures, Sony Corp's movie studio arm.

$3 bowl for $2.22 million

$3 bowl for $2.22 million, Yea recently thats exactly what took place in New York City. The rare Chinese bowl, purchased for $3 at a tag sale, was reportedly sold at auction for the astonishingly high price of slightly more than $2.22 million. According to a report on Tuesday (March 19) from The Associated Press, the auction estimate comes from Sotheby's, where the bowl was sold recently.

The bowl itself was said to have been purchased back in 2007 by a buyer who then put in on display in their home. It seems like the buyer wasn't quickly aware of the value of the bowl, though, having purchased it for only $3 at a tag sale. It turns out that the bowl itself is at least 1,000 years old and dates back to the Northern Song Dynasty. Nicknamed a "Ding" bowl, it was put on displays part of a fine Chinese ceramics and works of art auction on Tuesday.

Anyone selling a $3 bowl for $2.22 million has to feel pretty good about the return on that investment. It will be interesting if the media is able to figure out exactly where the bowl was purchased and whether the original seller knows just how much this rare ceramic Chinese bowl was just sold for. The sale price even exceeded the estimated $200,000 to $300,000 range that Sotheby's had thought would take place.

Warren's film roles included the 1952 comedy "Abbott and Costello Meet Captain Kidd” and she frequently appeared and performed on the talk shows of Johnny Carson, Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin and Steve Allen.

Warren also recorded a string of albums, including “Mood Indigo,” “Hey There, Here's Fran Warren” with Marty Paich, “Something's Coming” with Ralph Burns and Al Cohn, “Come Into My World,” and “Fran Warren in Nashville.”

According to a statement, Warren died of natural causes on March 4 – her birthday.

Warren is survived by two daughters, a son-in-law and two nieces.

Sinkhole swallows pond, How did that happend?

Sinkhole swallows pond, When he went to bed Saturday night, the pond was there. On Sunday, March 17 it was gone.

So How does that actually happen? thats is possibily the question everyone is having in there mind.

While northern California is no where near as prone to sinkholes as Florida (see USGS sinkhole map), one clue might be the fact that the pond was man-made.

While sinkholes don't need a human trigger, changes in drainage due to construction or agricultural irrigation have been known to activate mass outbreaks of sinkholes in Florida and other parts of the country. As The Christian Science Monitor reported earlier this month after a Florida man was swallowed in his bed by a sinkhole, "Drought followed by heavy rains can also instigate sinkholes as heavy, water-logged earth presses down on limestone caves suddenly devoid of buoyant water. The two previous deaths attributed to sinkholes both involved professional well drillers whose activities cracked the top of limestone caverns, causing collapse."

"Humans can [destabilize karst landscapes] by drawing down water tables or irrigate too much, increasing the weight of the mass of materials that sits on top of the void," says Jonathan Martin, a geologist at the University of Florida, in Gainesville. "Humans can modify the environment" enough to cause sinkholes.

The US Geological Society echoes this idea:

"Sinkholes can also form when natural water-drainage patterns are changed and new water-diversion systems are developed. Some sinkholes form when the land surface is changed, such as when industrial and runoff-storage ponds are created. The substantial weight of the new material can trigger an underground collapse of supporting material, thus causing a sinkhole."

So, it's possible that when Korb built his pond, he may have disturbed the local geology.

Another theory for the swallowing of Korb's pond was put forward by Sierra College Professor of Geology Alex Amigo. He also points to a human cause: gold mining.

This part of California is dubbed "Gold Country," for its long history of mining. "There was such a lot of mining activity going on in this area in the past, that we never know when there was a man-made cavity underground,"  Amigo told KCRA-TV.

Korb is now looking into how to deal with the sinkhole and doing research on the history of his property to see if there has been any gold mining on or near the property in the past.

Sinkhole swallows pond, Stunned Couple

Sinkhole swallows pond, the couple in Calif woke up early on Sunday and found out that a huge sinkhole had swallowed the pond in their backyard.

Homeowner Mark Korb, who lives at the property with his wife, said that the hole had drained the pond behind his Newcastle home in just five hours. Previously it had taken seven days to empty the same volume of water.

A sinkhole is a hole that opens up suddenly in the ground. They mostly occur because of erosion, underground water that gathers naturally or due to man-made activities.

Mr Korb told KCRA that the crater 'looks like the moon' on his rural property which is situated close to Dutch Ravine.

Last month, a man died after a 20ft sinkhole opened beneath his family home in Florida.

Jeff Bush, 37, was in his bedroom in Seffner on February 28 when the earth opened and took him and everything else in his room. Five others in the house escape unharmed.

The effort to find Bush's body was called off after crews deemed the underground cavity too risky and made the difficult decision to fill up the hole.

The family home was also demolished because of the danger.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania are the states most affected by sinkholes.

While they often occur from natural causes, sinkholes can be man-made and caused by human activity.

Groundwater pumping and construction are the most likely culprits. They can also occur when water drainage systems are changed.

Obama arrives in Israel, vows undying US support

Making his first official visit to Israel, President Barack Obama pledged on Wednesday unwavering commitment to the security of the Jewish State where concern over a nuclear-armed Iran has clouded U.S.-Israeli relations.

He also stressed the need for Middle East peace at the start of a three-day trip, which is aimed at resetting strained relations with both the Israelis and Palestinians, but is not expected to provide new initiatives or substantial policy moves.

Descending from Air Force One in bright Spring sunshine, Obama briefly embraced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with whom he has notoriously testy ties, before offering smiles and handshakes to waiting ranks of ministers.

"I see this visit as an opportunity to reaffirm the unbreakable bond between our nations, to restate America's unwavering commitment to Israel's security and to speak directly to the people of Israel and to your neighbors," Obama said at a red-carpet welcoming ceremony at Tel Aviv airport.

Nude beach shut down, to Reduce Illicit Activities

Nude beach shut down, in Wis Officials has announced on Tuesday from now on they will shut down one of nation-wide most popular nude beaches on weekdays after struggling for years in reducing sex and drugs on the sandbar and surrounding woods.

Nudists from around the country have been traveling to the public beach on the Wisconsin River near Mazomanie, about 25 miles northwest of Madison, for decades as word spread that prosecutors in ultra-liberal Dane County wouldn't go after anyone for showing skin. But visitors haven't stopped at just stripping down. They've been slipping off into the woods for trysts and drugs.

Authorities say that's crossing the line, but they haven't been able to stop the shenanigans. Their frustration reached a tipping point Tuesday, when the state Department of Natural Resources announced it will close the beach, the islands immediately off it and the surrounding woods to the public on weekdays, when wardens say troublemakers tend to operate unseen. The closures begin immediately. The area will remain open on weekends, though.

Bob Morton, executive director of the Austin, Tex.-based Naturist Action Committee, which lobbies on behalf of nudists, has visited the beach several times. He criticized the DNR for not consulting with beachgoers before closing the area.

"Honestly, we're on their side when it comes to enforcing things that are lewd and lascivious," Morton said. "There's something to be said about consulting the users of the place. There's got to be more to this somewhere."

Nate Kroeplin, who supervises DNR law enforcement in Dane County, said wardens reviewed data on citations and determined most violations happen on weekdays, when fewer people are around to police each other's behavior. Of the 92 citations wardens issued for disorderly conduct or drugs in the beach area between 2008 and 2012, 83 were given on weekdays, he said.

"Obviously we're disappointed when we have to shut any portion of our property down," he said. "But our ultimate goal is to have a safe place anybody can feel comfortable using. And with the current activity going on down there, that's just not the case."

The beach has been a problem for wardens for years. The DNR purchased the area in 1949 in an effort to open up more land for public hunting, fishing and recreation. Droves of nudists claimed the beach as their own, though, emboldened by local prosecutors' indifference. Wisconsin law makes exposing one's genitals a misdemeanor, but a long line of Dane County district attorneys have said naked people must cause some kind of disturbance before they can be prosecuted. The DNR estimates as many as 70,000 people, some from as far away as Florida, have visited the beach some summers.

With all the skin has come sex and drugs. Warden arrest reports tell graphic stories of oral sex and mutual masturbation.

The agency closed the area at night and banned beach camping in the late 1990s. Authorities also installed a gate blocking vehicles in hopes of stopping people from driving down to the beach in search of quick sex.

In 2007, wardens closed off parts of the woods around the beach to discourage sex in the underbrush and cut down brush around the beach to eliminate cover. But arrests for sex and drugs around the beach still hit a five-year high in 2011; wardens arrested 26 people for sex and 16 people for drugs in just nine days of surveillance.

The DNR closed another 70 acres around the beach last spring, but Kroeplin said it hasn't stopped people from cruising the beach parking lot on weekdays, when relatively few people are around to complain. Last summer, wardens issued 19 citations for sex and three for drugs over five or six days of surveillance, Kroeplin said; 16 citations were issued on weekdays compared with six on weekends.

"It's pretty incredible to see the amount of traffic that pulls onto the property," Kroeplin said. "Everything we've done has not made any difference."

Cheerleader stretcher

Cheerleader stretcher, The Atlanta Hawks cheerleader has been taken off the court on the stretcher after slipping and hitting her head during a dance routine in the second half of the team's 127-113 loss to the Dallas Mavericks Monday night.
Cheerleader Kristen, whose last name was not released, was taken by paramedics to Atlanta Medical Center. She was released Monday night following examination by physicians, according to the team.
Kristen is half of a pair of identical twins from Houston, who according to the team's website, has "a lucky pair of socks that I wear for every Hawks game." Unless they were in the laundry Monday night, she may want to reconsider that superstition. Although judging from the video, the fact that she escaped relatively unscathed might mean they were actually serving their purpose.

In addition to her work on the court, Kristen's bio says she is a full-time pre-Kindergarten teacher and is obsessed with Oatmeal Creme Pies. Hopefully the team sent a few boxes to her home to assist with a speedy recovery.

Cheerleader stretcher exit, Atlanta Hawks game

Cheerleader stretcher exit, had took place during the Atlanta Hawks game on the Monday (March 18). The injured cheerleader was placed on a stretcher and taken off the court after an accident took place during a performance in the second half. According to a report from late Monday, the Hawks were taking on the Dallas Mavericks and the dancers took to the floor between the third and fourth quarters.
An Atlanta Hawks cheerleader was removed from the court on a stretcher after falling and hitting her head and neck during Monday night’s game (March 18).
During the dance performance, it was reported that one of the cheerleaders slipped and hit her head and neck on the floor. The cheerleader's first name is Kristen, but the team and her doctors did not release her last name. Paramedics were called to the Phillips Arena, where the game had to be delayed so that they could take her to Atlanta Medical Center. The good news is that she ended up being released later that night after she was examined by physicians.

A witness at the game stated that the other dancers didn't even notice that she had gone down and was unconscious on the court. The reality probably hit when she didn't get back up and it led to a stretcher taking the cheerleader off the court. It has not yet been revealed whether she will return to the sidelines for the next Atlanta Hawks home game.

Nude beach shut down, only Weekdays

Nude beach shut down, Mazomanie beach will be closed due to illegal tête-à-têtes, drugs, The nude beach shut down of an infamous southern Wisconsin nude beach near Mazomanie is the result of decades of illicit sex and drug abuse at the beach.

The video below reports about prior troubles at the Mazomanie nude beach. In 2011, within nine days, 26 people were arrested for illicit sex and 16 people were taken into custody for drugs, reported the Duluth News Tribune on March 19, 2013....examiner.

For decades, nudists from around the country have been coming to the popular public nude beach to escape from the constraints of society. The public beach is located along the Wisconsin River near Mazomanie, about 25 miles northwest of Madison.

After word spread that prosecutors in ultra-liberal Dane County would not go after any person who enjoys running around naked, nudists nationwide have made the beach their own mecca.

Unfortunately, what was meant to be a natural and public place of nudist freedom has turned into illegal freedom as people slip off into the woods for some illegal tête-à-têtes and drugs.

While most nude beaches are frequently visited on weekends, the Wisconsin nude beach struggled with most of the illegal activities on weekdays.

On Wednesday, the state Department of Natural Resources announced that it is shutting down the Wisconsin nude beach, its surrounding islands, its sandbars, and its wooded areas on weekdays.

On weekends, the nude beach will remain open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The state Department of “Natural” Resources does want to continue to provide a public place that allows people to be “natural.” However, the state department also feels responsible for providing a safe place.

Nate Kroeplin, who supervises the Department of Natural Resources in Dane County, said that,

"Obviously we're disappointed when we have to shut any portion of our property down. But our ultimate goal is to have a safe place anybody can feel comfortable using. And with the current activity going on down there, that's just not the case."

The fact that the nude beach shut down by the state department is limited to weekdays still provides opportunities for nudists to enjoy some appropriate nudist activities, but during daylight.

Jay-Z Raps About Beyonce on New Kendrick Lamar Track

Beyonce and Jay-Z attend the HBO Documentary Film "Beyonce: Life Is But A Dream" New York Premiere at the Ziegfeld Theater on February 12, 2013 in New York City.
Jay-Z's musical tribute to Beyonce on Kendrick Lamar's new track isn't exactly a Shakespearean sonnet, but that doesn't mean it isn't romantic. In spite of its name, "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe," the remixed song finds the 43-year-old rapper waxing poetic about his superstar wife of four years, with whom he has a 14-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

"Up in the clouds, me and my spouse / Rumors on the ground gettin' too loud," the Brooklyn hip hop mogul rhymes. "Please turn them s--ts down, can't hear myself think / Turbulence, s--t, almost spilled my drink."

The verse also honors another VIP: President Barack Obama, a close, personal pal to both the rapper and his wife. "Presidential pardon, name one n---a out there harder than him / I'll wait, I've been in my weight like 20 years straight / I've been on my vibe like 20 years straight," Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) raps of the Commander-in-Chief.

The track -- a remixed version of Lamar's hit of the same name from his sophomore album, Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City -- premiered at SXSW earlier this month. In addition to the verse from Jay-Z, it features two new verses from Lamar.

Beyonce, for her part, debuted some music of her own on Sunday, March 17. "Bow Down/I Been On" is the singer's first new material in nearly two years and features some of her fiercest, grittiest lyrics.

"I know when you were little girls / You dreamt of being in my world / Don't forget it / Respect that / Bow down bitches / Don't get it twisted this is my s--t," she sings.

The track drew praise from many fans on Twitter, but not everyone loves the star's new direction. Fellow R&B singer Keyshia Cole criticized the song, tweeting: "First 'Women need to Stick together' now b-tches better Bow. Smh. But it's all G! Chicks stay shooting the sh-t..."

Katy Perry, John Mayer Split for Second Time

Katy Perry and John Mayer attend the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards Pre-GRAMMY Gala held at The Beverly Hilton on February 9, 2013 in Los Angeles, California.
Katy Perry and John Mayer have once again said goodbye -- for now. The pop songstress, 28, and singer-songwriter, 35, have split for the second time, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly. The high-profile pair began casually dating during summer 2012, and briefly called it quits back in August before reconciling the next month.

"It's sad," one pal tells Us, but cautions that it might not be a permanent break. "It's not over until it's over. You have to see how things play out." Adds another source: "She's leaving the window open. They have both been so focused on work."

Indeed, Perry has been busy recording her third studio album in Los Angeles, while Mayer -- on the mend following serious vocal problems and throat surgery last year -- is prepping for upcoming tour dates and a live Google Hangout chat this Thursday, March 21.

Following their September 2012 reconciliation, the twosome seemed to ramp up their relationship: The "Waiting on the World to Change" troubadour visited Perry's Santa Barbara hometown in November, they attended high-profile events together as a couple, and Mayer, famous for his string of A-list exes, gushed about Perry in a January 60 Minutes interview. "I'm very happy in all aspects of my life," said Mayer, who had messy splits with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt, to name a few.

Perry, who finalized her divorce from Russell Brand in February 2012, was tweeting happily about her man as recently as March 2. "My boyfriend is taking me to a kitten shelter in his truck," she wrote to her nearly 34 million followers. "I can't think of a more perfect Saturday." But on Monday, March 18, she suggested she's been dealing with turmoil. "ATTENTION: Mercury is OUT of retrograde today. Thank GOD," Perry wrote.

Katy Perry And John Mayer Break Up

After dating on and off since last summer, John Mayer and Katy Perry have broken up again, People reports.

"It's sad," a source told Us Weekly. "It's not over until it's over. You have to see how things play out." In what is becoming the de facto Hollywood response, another source blamed the couple's busy schedules, saying, "She's leaving the window open. They have both been so focused on work."

First spotted together last June, John and Katy called it quits back in August. That was short-lived, however, as the duo were seen smooching it up at awards shows and restaurants around Los Angeles the next month.

Just last month, the seemingly happy couple was spotted together at the Grammys, with Perry even revealing to our own Sway that her "boyfriend" introduced her to the smooth sounds of Miguel.

Mayer has left a slew of starlets in his wake in the past, including very public relationships with Taylor Swift and Jessica Simpson. Perry, meanwhile, was married to Russell Brand for 14 months before they announced their divorce in 2011.

Perry and Mayer's camps haven't yet commented on the reported breakup.

South Korean banks, media report network crashed

Computers networks at two major South Korean banks and three top TV broadcasters went into shutdown mode en masse Wednesday, paralyzing bank machines across the country and prompting speculation of a cyberattack by North Korea.

Screens went blank promptly at 2 p.m. (0500 GMT), with skulls popping up on the screens of some computers — a strong indication that hackers planted a malicious code in South Korean systems, the state-run Korea Information Security Agency said. Some computers started to get back online more than 2 ½ hours later.

Police and South Korean officials investigating the shutdown said the cause was not immediately clear. But speculation centered on North Korea, with experts saying a cyberattack orchestrated by Pyongyang was likely to blame.

The shutdown comes amid rising rhetoric and threats of attack from Pyongyang in response to U.N. punishment for its December rocket launch and February nuclear test. Washington also expanded sanctions against North Korea this month in a bid to cripple the regime's ability to develop its nuclear program.

North Korea has threatened revenge for the sanctions and for ongoing routine U.S.-South Korean military drills it considers invasion preparation.

Accusations of cyberattacks on the Korean Peninsula are not new. Seoul believes Pyongyang was behind at least two cyberattacks on local companies in 2011 and 2012.

The latest network paralysis took place just days after North Korea accused South Korea and the U.S. of staging a cyberattack that shut down its websites for two days last week. The Thai-based Internet service provider confirmed the outage, but did not say what caused the shutdown in North Korea.

"It's got to be a hacking attack," Lim Jong-in, dean of Korea University's Graduate School of Information Security, said of Wednesday's events. "Such simultaneous shutdowns cannot be caused by technical glitches."

Shinhan Bank, a lender of South Korea's fourth-largest banking group, reported a system shutdown, including online banking and automated teller machines. The company couldn't conduct any customer activities at bank windows, including retail and corporate banking.

At one Starbucks in downtown Seoul, customers were asked to pay for their coffee in cash, and lines were forming outside disabled bank machines. Seoul is a largely cashless society, with many people using debit and credit cards.

Broadcasters KBS and MBC said their computers went down at 2 p.m., but officials said the shutdown did not affect daily TV broadcasts.

YTN cable news channel also said the company's internal computer network was completely paralyzed. Local TV showed workers staring at blank computer screens.

The South Korean military raised its cyberattack readiness level Wednesday following the shutdown, the Defense Ministry said. Defense officials reported no signs of cyberattacks on its ministry's computer network and had no immediate details about the broader shutdown.

LG Uplus Corp., South Korea's third-largest mobile operator, which also operates landline services, said the company's networks are operating normally and it did not see any signs of a cyberattack, company spokesman Lee Jung-hwan said.

The companies whose networks shut down Wednesday afternoon use not just LG Uplus' services but also other services from SK Telecom Co. and KT Corp, he said.

The investigation will take months, Lim said.

"Hackers attack media companies usually because of a political desire to cause confusion in society," he said. "Political attacks on South Korea come from North Koreans."

Massive shutdowns of the networks of major companies take at least one to six months of planning and coordination, said Kwon Seok-chul, chief executive officer of Seoul-based cyber security firm Cuvepia Inc.

Patrick Stewart wedding, Get Married?

Patrick Stewart wedding, Sir Ian McKellen is getting married to Sir Patrick Stewart.

Yup, it's true. McKellen is literally marrying Stewart -- but not in the way it sounds. McKellen announced on the British talk show "The Jonathan Ross Show" that he will preside over his 72-year-old "X-Men" co-star's upcoming nuptials to jazz singer Sunny Ozell, 35.

McKellen and Ross covered a wide range of subjects (the whole 15-minute interview is quite entertaining, we suggest watching it if you have the time), but when the topic of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" came up, the award-winning actor announced, "I'm going to marry Patrick," resulting in some hardy chuckles from the audience until he clarified, "How else do you put that? I'm going to officiate at his wedding."

And apparently this is not the first time that McKellen, 73, has presided over a wedding -- he's united another couple in the U.K., "with two guys having a civil partnership. I was crying my eyes out," he said. He wore a white gown to that affair, "something I bought in India that was rather fetching. You mustn't upstage the bride."

To which Ross quickly responded: "How can you not upstage [the bride] if you're floating in like some sort of cherub?"

We're betting McKellen won't be wearing a white gown this time around, lest he have a very angry bride on his hands. Though she'd likely be OK with him donning his Gandalf the White garb -- who wouldn't want Gandalf the White to marry them?

Patrick Stewart wedding

Patrick Stewart wedding, Ian McKellen, wedding officiant? A positively magnetic idea, Patrick Stewart says.

The thesp behind Magneto's alter ego in the big-screen version of X-Men reveals that he's been tapped to officiate at the upcoming wedding of his pal Stewart—with whom he costarred in the hit superhero flicks—to singer Sunny Ozell.

McKellen shared the news during an appearance on U.K.'s Jonathan Ross Show, and it turns out the 73-year-old has got some bona fides when it comes to overseeing weddings.

"I'm going to marry Patrick," he said. "I am going to officiate at his wedding."

When pressed about whether he had the right qualifications for the job, he said: "In Massachusetts—we're in the middle of America somewhere—you get anybody along, a friend, and I read out the words, and Sunny and Patrick will then be married. I declare you man and wife."

Apparently, this isn't the first time McKellen's taken on the task—he said he'd "done it once before with two guys having a civil partnership" in the U.K., which left the actor "crying my eyes out."

X-Men: Days of Future Past director talks "biggest" film yet

As for his getup, McKellen said that the last time, he donned a "sort of gown, a white...something I bought in India."

The look, he quipped, was "rather fetching," before cracking, "You mustn't upstage the bride." Or Professor X himself, for that matter!

The wedding will prove to be another reunion of sorts for McKellen and Stewart: They're both set to reprise their superhero roles in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, which comes to theaters in July 2014.
