I knew he was up to something fishy! Diver's shock as boyfriend plucks dazzling diamond ring off the seabed in elaborate underwater proposal
A diver thought her boyfriend had found a stash of sunken treasure when on a recent Caribbean vacation he swam towards her with a gleaming diamond ring.
But Jessica Forbes, 21, from Lynchburg, Virginia, told ABC News that she was even more surprised when she realized the piece of jewelry was in fact an engagement ring and she was being proposed to underwater.
Unable to speak at the time her partner of more than one year, Joseph House, 23, swam to the seabed in his scuba gear, attempted to get down on one knee and gestured for her left hand.

'I wanted a proposal that was going to be something creative that I had never heard of or seen before,' he explained.
