A deleted Instagram account belonging to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's shows the 19-year-old bombing suspect 'liked' a picture of a Chechen terrorist.
Mystery surrounds the deleted account of the imprisoned terror suspect on the picture sharing website.
Cached versions of his account, believed to be under the username jmaister1, show he supported a picture of Shamil Basayev, according to CNN.
Basayev, who was killed in 2006, is believed to be the mastermind behind several terrorist attacks on Russia and the leader of Chechnya's radical insurgency.

Experts told the broadcaster the fact Dzhokhar deleted the account suggests its an area of interest.
The social media savvy Chechen didn't delete his Twitter account or his profile on the VK Russian social media site.
Both sites have been scrutinized for clues by the police, public and media but details on the Instagram website remain hidden.

Instagram wouldn't comment on whether a request had been made by the authorities investigating Dzhokhar but their terms of service make plain they will help law enforcement agencies when needed.
It is not known when the younger suspect deleted the account but friends told the broadcaster it was active recently.
According to friends on the site he used it to keep in touch with a 'close knit' group of school friends.
On Twitter the terror suspect made plain his feelings about his native country repeatedly referencing 'Chechen power'.

Many of his posts are innocuous references to pop culture, college and women.
But others are serious and appear to suggests of events to come.
On April 21 2012 he wrote in Russian: 'I will perish young' while last month he tweeted 'Never underestimate the rebel with a cause'.
In a July 17 post at 10.45am he wrote: '3rd zombie apocalypse dream in a span of like 2 weeks, I'm no golden boy but maybe, just maybe we should be expecting something soon, tbc..'
This was the same day his older brother is believed to have returned to the country after a mysterious six month absence.
Dzhokhar also made plain his feelings on 9/11.
He also posted: 'Idk [I don't know] why it's hard for many of you to accept that 9/11 was an inside job, I mean I guess f*** the facts y'all are some real #patriots #gethip.'
