A husband shot dead his wife on Wednesday in her workplace before committing suicide, authorities said.
The shooter was identified as Scott Edgerton, 63, who killed his 56-year-old wife Sharon Bellingham and then turned the gun on himself.
Officer workers in Boca Raton, Florida threw themselves under their desks as shots rang out on the fifth floor around 9.20am.

Police were on the scene within minutes and secured the building and parking lot.
The couple, who have two children, have been married for 27 years. They have had no prior arrests and do not have criminal records.
Police continue to investigate as co-workers and neighbors of the couple expressed their complete shock at the tragedy.
According to bocanewsnow.com, Edgerton had recently retired as director of a non-profit counseling service in Boca Raton.
