Regardless how much money you have, few would disagree that raising four children is a tough job.
And when it comes to bringing up their children in the public eye, David Beckham admits he and wife Victoria are constantly striving to give them as normal an upbringing as possible.
In an interview with CNN World Sport's Pedro Pinto, David admitted eldest son Brooklyn, 14, is already growing more independent as he progresses through his teens.
'You have to explain it to him that there are certain things that he can't do.
'But to be honest, with our children, we let them do 99 per cent of the things they want to do because we want them to lead a normal life.'
The family have been living in London since December, with David splitting his time between the British capital and Paris after signing for Paris St Germain this year.
He explained: 'When you speak about the sacrifices, that's obviously the sacrifice that I have to make as a father and as a husband, being away from my family.
Meanwhile, David admitted he was enjoying the French cuisine, in particular Escargot (snails).
He enthused: 'I love French food I must admit. Obviously living here at the moment, I've always loved French Cuisine.
'I like snails actually. I like snails funnily enough.'
