It's a legendary stage show that has amassed a cult following,
with audience members encouraged to wear fancy dress to get into the
spirit of things.
But Roxanne Pallett perhaps got a little more than she bargained for as she arrived at Manchester's Opera House on Good Friday to be greeted by a scantily-clad friend before her appearance in The Rocky Horror Show.
The 29-year-old actress visibly cracked up as the cheeky audience member showed off her costume in all its glory by baring her bottom in skimpy underwear and fishnet tights.
It was a special night for
Roxanne, with her mother coming to see her in action as
suspender-wearing leading lady Janet Weiss as a birthday treat.
Posing for a picture together outside the theatre, it was clear the star's mum had thrown herself into the Rocky Horror spirit of things by wearing punky striped tights and a mini top hat.
Winter
style: Roxanne wrapped up in a pair of cute earmuffs, looking
effortlessly chic in a grey tweed coat dress, skinny jeans and pumps
The
pretty brunette seemed delighted to be joined by some of her nearest
and dearest, and cut a stylish figure as she greeted her friends and
family.
Covering up against the unseasonably chilly weather in a cute pair of earmuffs, the former Dancing On Ice star looked effortlessly chic in a grey tweed coat dress, skinny jeans and pumps.
Roxanne completed her stylish look with a cosy-looking pashmina and a khaki quilted leather handbag, while wearing her dark locks tied up into a ponytail.
Comfort over style: The actress teamed her cosy onesie with a pair of gold sequin UGG-style boots
The
actress appeared to be in great shape after recently dropping several
pounds through diet and exercise, switching to healthy alternatives of
her favourite foods and rehearsing for up to eight hours a day to lose
an impressive 15 pounds.
She told OK magazine: 'If you put on a few pounds and you’re not doing a job in the public eye, it’s okay because when you’re in the office you can hide under clothes or if you’re at home you can hide behind your onesie.
'So during the rehearsal period for Rocky Horror, I realised I needed to feel confident with my body to play that role with conviction because the audience can see if you’re not comfortable.
'When you're on television, or film, or on stage, you can't hide – you have to be in the costume of that character and most of the time it’s sexy or revealing. You have to be confident.'
Pretty in pink: Roxanne stars in the musical as Janet Weiss in the show until 11 May
