The joke's on us! Tom Daley reveals his 'new micro-pig'

Tom Daley has made some epic dives in his career, but he managed to pull off an even more impressive joke this April Fools' Day.
The Olympic diver successfully fooled millions - including Mail Online - into thinking he had acquired a micro-pig.
Tom, 18, revealed the hoax on Monday, tweeting a jovial message to his followers: 'LOL at mail online, Saturday night takeaway and @heatworld for thinking my pig was real though ;) hahaha (sic)'.

It turns out the farmyard pet he posted a picture of himself cuddling was actually a pint-size ornament.
Ant And Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway featured the story on their prime-time TV show, as well as celebrity magazine Heat.
The world was totally taken in by the adorable picture of the fake new addition to his family, which Tom posted to Twitter on Thursday.

Along with the photograph, Tom added the caption: 'My pig is called Robby-Ray for those asking :D'.
Cradling the tiny animal in his arms and smiling widely at the camera, Tom had set up the joke perfectly for the big reveal on April 1st.
However, the Olympian wasn't the only one gunning for the biggest April Fools' hoax.

Expecting: Mila Kunis announced she was pregnant with Ashton Kutcher's baby and that they would be taking time off in Hawaii until the baby was bornExpecting: Mila Kunis announced she was pregnant with Ashton Kutcher's baby and that they would be taking time off in Hawaii until the baby was born
Mila Kunis's joke had similar planning to Tom's, as she posted a picture of two positive pregnancy tests on Facebook with the message:
'As you all probably know, I'm pregnant and I've decided to take the next 9 months off with Ashton Kutcher in Hawaii. Don't worry, my manager will posting pictures everyday as usual so you can all see the progress and news. :) I'm so happy. Any ideas for the baby's name? I love you all and thank you for the support. :)xx'
Although Mila may not be pregnant, one wonders just how she managed to get two different brands of tests to read positive.
Seemingly continuing the bun in the oven joke, Lindsay Lohan also announced she was expecting.

Another big joke came from Google, who teased the world with the arrival of a 'scent-based search engine'.
Called 'Nose' the icon sat between the Shopping and More tabs on the browser's navigation bar.
