And attending the 55th Logie Awards in Melbourne on Sunday it's safe to say that Olly Murs' fanbase is much bigger than just the UK.
Taking to the red carpet at the event, which was held at the Crown Palladium, the 28-year-old singer was greeted by a hoard of hysterical fans.

At the Logies, Olly performed his latest single Army Of Two, while Bruno Mars opened the show with his chart-topper Locked Out of Heaven.

Winners at the annual event, which celebrates the most popular Australian television shows, included Joel Madden, Steve Peacocke and Asher Keddie.
Having thoroughly enjoyed the award show, Olly tweeted: 'Great time at the #logies time for sleep if I can... Gotta be up for Breakfast TV.... #Ollydownunder love this has tag haha'.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale April 25, 2013, and eagerly anticipating the dates, Murs took to his Twitter to share the news.
He tweeted: 'So buzzing on announcing am doing a mini-tour in Australia & NewZealand!! End of the year in November!! #Ollydownunder'.

The star juggled fronting The X Factor spin-off show with his career as a pop musician in 2011 and 2012, but has ruled himself out of returning to the show this year as he is too busy with his other commitments.
He told The Sun newspaper: 'It's going to be a shame not to do The Xtra Factor again. I'm gutted because it's been a huge part of my life for the last two years.
'I'll always be working because I love working but it's about getting the balance right.'
