But Sarah Jessica Parker was back to her Sex And The City best for a recent photo shoot.

The 48-year-old harkened back to her iconic Carrie Bradshaw days in feminine flirty dresses and big glamorous hair as she posed in a sun-dappled courtyard for Brazilian clothing brand Maria Valentina on Thursday in Beverly Hills.

The actress looked fresh and effortlessly gorgeous in the shoot for the label's Spring/Summer 2014 collection, which featured two colourful dresses that showcased the star's slender figure.

In one look, Sarah Jessica dazzled in a gold yellow embroidered dress that flared at the knees.

The mother-of-three paired the frock with an ethnic tasseled necklace, silver pointy heels and a giant white leather clutch.

Sarah Jessica sported a more carefree look in the other outfit, opting to go barefoot while posing in the pink-and-white patterned sleeveless dress.

She is seen holding a sunhat while sitting on a wall beside a pot of pink flowers, smiling and crossing her legs in one shot, while in another holding a cold drink as she looks at the camera with a sultry expression.

The star wore her long thick hair in glamorous loose waves over her shoulders, and kept her makeup natural, highlighting her blue eyes with smokey eyeshadow and enhancing her natural glow with a peachy blusher.

Sarah Jessica was named the new face of the Brazilian luxury fashion label in January.

She featured in a Thirties-inspired shoot for the brand's Autumn/Winter 2013 collection.

According to the Maria Valentina blog, Sarah Jessica was chosen to represent the brand thanks to her 'taste and influence in the fashion world.'

The glamorous new shoot is a far cry from the star's often frumpy everyday look.

Sarah Jessica is regularly spotted wearing bizarre and unflattering outfits as she runs errands in her Manhattan neighbourhood.

Her strange choice of clothing is especially marked thanks to her turn as the fashionable Carrie in the hit HBO show Sex And The City.

Sarah, who has won four Golden Globes, will next be seen in the romantic comedy Married and Cheating with Eva Longoria.

The Failure to Launch star also just started filming Mixtape, a music-based comedy about a girl who accidentally destroys a mixtape that belonged to her deceased mother.

Sarah Jessica will play the girl's aunt and caretaker in the film, due to be released later this year.
