Pups in San Antonio, Texas, got to strut their stuff and put on a show in colorful costumes for the annual Fiesta Pooch Parade and King William Fair Saturday.
About 50,000 people were expected to turn out for the canine-themed festivities for the whole family.
The fair, that goes back to 1967, is the primary fundraising event for the King William Association - a nonprofit organization which works to preserve the oldest historic district in Texas.
This year, the funky parade featured hundreds of four-legged participants decked in outlandish and delightful costumes, from a French bulldog dressed as a sheep to a dachshund named Barron riding a homemade red plane.
The 14th annual Pooch Parade, a three-mile walk, began with a morning costume contest.
A few pups stood out for the funky costumes, including Elvira the Chow Chow who came outfitted as country singer Willie Nelson.
A pup named Jolene also made an impression with her pink frilly costume inspired by the pint-sized reality TV star Honey Boo Boo, complete with a curly blonde wig.
